When I started to research the names of space foods for my article I came across Tang, which 1) is not a space name and 2) I had totally forgotten it existed! Sort of like Fresca (which i have seen occasional) but I digress!
In the article I show an original Tang packaging, but I needed to see if it was still around.. yep.. it is! Right there on my grocery store shelf in huge containers. Who drinks this?
My Candy bar memories are more focused on 'Mars Bars' which was our go to candy bar in Europe. Since they don't market them in the United States anymore, my British Step mom is now on a mission to get me one!
In it's substitute I got a Milky Way bar, doesn't it looks great on my Quilted Out of This World? Cindy and Dennis Dickinson did a GREAT job with this space quilting, I love it!

I like full color! how I can start?
Is there a way for us to delete botched attempts to p0st our blocks on the blog? First it went on without a photo then with a photo but I was on last months post 🥴. Third time was the charm but feeling rather stupid with all the miss-posts. sorry!
Also wondering if you post the monthly winners somewhere?
I can get Milky Way, I can’t get Mars. Although I saw I can order a box of 12 online so i might do that!
Hi, Pat! There is an ad right above here that you can get a whole box if Milky Way bars from Amazon. Cindy and Dennis did an excellent job on your quilt. But, then, they always do! Let me know if you don’t get candy bars from your anyone.

Hi Pat! I wanted to advise you of two things. Firstly, I am no longer getting an email notice in the first day of the month for “Out of This World”. I filled out another notice form of yours last month, but this month still I got no email today (August 1st). I hope that you can fix this for me as it is hard to find. Secondly, I want to tell you that you can buy “Mars” chocolate bars anywhere in Canada, you don’t have to go all of the way to Britain for it. If you’d like, I’d be glad to mail you some. Just let me know how many you want.
