I’d like to offer a bit of advice. Even though these are pretty easy blocks, they do take time. I know how much time as I’m actually sewing them each week AFTER I release them to you. I’m not working ahead. I designed this project for myself to experience one block a week and invited everyone to join me, so happy you did! So my advice… ..

…. if you are just starting my project, or jumping back in… do the block for today. THEN work backwards to sew prior blocks. It’s so much better as you won’t feel ‘behind’. And these will be here a long time so you can work on them as you can!
Jump back in with ‘Tile Time’ is Block 21/25!
Do you remember I have a ‘word of the year’. This year it’s ‘Story’ and every one of my Wed blocks is a story, a journal of my life this week.
…….keep reading to see my finds this week…

Sorry that is number #21.
I missed printing #1 block due to illness. Can I still get it?
you are welcome, the blocks will be here when you are ready Margarita!
you can do it Anita! And we have a few weeks before the next one starts!
Deb that is so fun! Well you don’t need to be sad, as i will start the next one at the end of June. I’ve announced it several times, including this post. Hope that helps!
Stacey I am not giving any supply lists for this project.
it does and it’s fun to do that!
glad the big one is done!
Linda thank you for sewing with me! when you say ‘no luck’ what does that mean? if your photos are too highres it won’t let you upload. But you can link to your photo at Facebook if you already shared it there by using the URL. Or do you mean you can’t find the blue button? that is after the last photo.
hope that helps and i do have a tutorial

Hi Sherry.. there is a blue button after the LAST photo that says ‘Add your link’ … if you can’t see photos or the button… change browser or devices before contacting your local tech support. hope that helps!
Pat Sloan es un bloque precioso, muchas gracias. Yo sigo mal de la pierna y el pie y no puedo coser. Tengo unas ganas de curarme y poder hacer el Solsticio. Lo tengo todo guardado. Saludos.
I can’t believe we are almost done! I was doing so good keeping up weekly, then got crazy, but right now I’m only two weeks behind. I can’t wait to put it together:) Loving it and looking forward to the next one.
Call me “challenged” but I can’t find the blue button to see all the blocks people are sharing! I’ve clicked everything I can find and the pictures don’t come up. I don’t want to add mine, I just want to see them! Help!
I told my sister in laws about the Solstice challenge when you started it . the three of us have been quilting together for about 10 years now. We have totally enjoyed making each block and always look forward to the next one. As excited as we are to see the completed quilt. We will also be sad to have it end. Thank you for taking the time to create each of these. They are beautiful, and fun to make. We haven’t been successful in posting any of our blocks on your page, but we are happy with them.
Pat, when you layout the blocks in a quilt fashion does it tell you how much of each fabric ypu need? I love this pattern and wpuld love to make a quilt but curious if i have enough of yhe fabrics i have in mind.
I love the southwest look of the 60 x72 quilt pattern!! Amazing how multiplying a block and putting them together can look so much different than the single block.
I finally have the curtains done I was paid to sew. Now on to my Solstice blocks. I have 8 to catch up on. Can’t wait to post them. I have really enjoyed this challenge. Thank you Pat! Usually, I’m not happy about a lot of rain, but it has helped me stay inside and get some old projects done that I just had to get off my “back”. This is my challenge YEAR. Getting UFO’s done. I have soooo many. As the stacks disappear from my sewing room it is a good feeling! I don’t have to look at them unfinished. That little voice will no longer say “remember me?”
I am thoroughly enjoying this challenge. All blocks done except todays. Thank you for sharing these with us! I’d post pictures but haven’t had any luck doing it. Hopefully when it is pieced together as a quilt I will be able to do it.
