Some great fabric sets in the clearance right now.. check them out!

FIRST – If you signed up for email notices, those are generated at 11am EST (my time). So if you want a pattern sooner, come to the website. Now onto Block #4 which is perfect for busting some 2.5″ strips. The half logcabin block #3 used leftover jelly roll parts or scrap strips and so does the Cobble Stones. What I love about this block is how different it will look depending on color placement. You can make sure you get that stepping stone zig zag or not!

I know you REALLY want to use up scraps and I think the best way to do that is with a little scrap busting challenge!
Take my Cobble stone block and make a quilt top. On page 4 of the pattern download is the diagram above + quilt top sizes with number of blocks to make.
I’m giving you 4 weeks to make the top. On Friday I’ll post the prize you can enter to win and the quilt share will be open… incase someone is VERY speedy!

Praying for your healing and rapid return to sewing. This is a fun project and I am often a block or two behind. It is helpful to see what fabrics others use. You will enjoy this when you are feeling up to it. God’s speed in your recovery.
I did all 3 blocks yesterday and just cut out block 4. The next thing I need to learn is how to post the blocks so others can see. I really enjoy looking at the color combinations. I’m so proud of myself for shopping in my stash. Since I’m only 45 miles from Canada and in cold & snowy ND, I decided to go with blues and the Snow Grunge fabric by Moda! Maybe halfway through I’ll have to add some more springy colors??? Thank you, Pat!
How do you post your block???
This is my first block of the month to share as we go. I’m so excited to do this with you. I really enjoyed “My Secret Garden” quilt. It was fun and beautiful. Thank you for easy blocks that are beautiful. I will be doing your other one also. Thanks again, Pay.
So nice to be working with BIG pieces-made the first 3 blocks this morning!
I love all the blocks, it is fun trying to use up my fabric. I love the challenge, I am going to try to make something.
Hello everyone. I still do wrong with the leg, the foot and the sciatica. The pains are getting stronger. I have to be at rest in bed and I can not stand it. I can not do anything. But when I heal (I’ve been like this for almost a month and what I have left) I’m going to start sewing. I’m going to be very, very late, but even if it ends much later than you, I’m going to finish. Greetings. Me apunto al Solsticio.
I love these blocks as they are so easy and the details are fabulous. Thank you
I am so excited to see what I can create in the next 4 weeks. Thanks for the challenge
