I like to use neutrals for piecing but love to use matching coloured thread when quilting if I am using bright colours. Grey and beige are a must for us quilters!
Give me all the thread colors. Quilted with a variegated thread and it was awesome.Love my Aurifil Thread.
I just love those neutrals!
I have been using only Aurifil 50 weight thread for over 20 years now. I use it for piecing quilting and all my machine applique. Machine applique is my favorite quilting to do, and I match all my applique pieces to my Aurifil threads. I love how they blend in and never take away from the appliqued fabric pieces. So, yes I have many colors, but always can use more! The neutral thread box is one of my very favorites!
Hi! I love to watch your YouTube. I’m learning so much about color. I use Aurafil thread all the time I usually use neutrals for piecing but have lots of colors for machine binding. I would definitely use the thread pack giveaway!
I Love Aurifil!
Aurifil isn’t easy to find here in Quebec. You have to order it. So it would be an awesome surprise to win some!
I have my mom’s thread collection so I have a variety of colors. I tend to use mostly neutral colors because I don’t want to use the pretty ones. I know, crazy.
I love all colors of thread but use neutrals for piecing. Aurifil is my all time favorite brand and use different weights.
Who doesn’t love Aurifil thread? Beautiful neutrals are a must. Blessings y’all
I have bins full of different color threads, but do most of my piecing with Aurifil neutrals. This would be a wonderful way to enhance my Aurifil neutral assortment.
Hello I love watching you shows.and I can’t wait to make the breakfast quilt wall hanging.i would like to know how you make a door wreaths out of fabric.i love the thread.
I have lots of thread colors!
I love to have a variety of colors to use. When I know the thread is going to be seen, I want it to match. But I love the neutrals for piecing blocks together. This box of Aurifil would be amazing to have!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
I am trying different colours for backgrounds rather than just white or cream. Which means the other neutral colour threads would be useful.
Aurifil thread is my jam. I love it! I use it for piecing, hemming quilts, and appliqué. I just drooled looking at the thread. Such scrumptious colors. Thank you for giving it away for your tenth anniversary celebration. What a wonderful gift to enjoy!
I primarily use neutral thread.
I use mostly neutral colors when piecing, but live, love, love all the bright fabrics, so I use colors when quilting. Aurifil thread is the best too – so little lint! Thank you and Aurifil for this wonderful giveaway!
I would love to have some airfoil thread for my collection. When piecing I love to use neutral fabrics like gray, white or black . But when doing quilting and ruler work I love to use many different colors . Hapoy 10th Anniversary Pat and thanks for the chance to wine some
Someone in this group suggested using neutral thread for everything. I tend to use beige for pastels and grays for dark colors, except that I think gray works better with white than beige does.
Have lots of colors but use the neutrals for most of my quilting. Saves time winding bobbins
Great colors! Happy 10 years!
I use neutrals for piecing and colors for applique.
Love aurifil thread. Best thread ever. Neutral colors always in use. Thank you
That would be awesome to win. I have only tried Aurifil once but I really liked it
Happy Anniversary!! I love Aurifil thread and this box of colors is beautiful and would be perfect for so many projects!
I’m more of a neutral girl. Love a cream or gray. However, I will use colors to match fabric for the binding. Also love Aurifil!
I mostly have neutrals, but grab colors when I catch a good sale.
My machine loves Aurifil thread and I use neutrals most often.
I tend to have more neutrals on hand because they are the most practical. But I love colored thread and it definitely has a place in my sewing kit.
I love using the aurifil thread. Use mostly the neural colors. I do need other colors when doing binding. Would love to receive this wonderful gift from you.
I love Aurifil thread but more importantly, so does Annabel Lee, my Brother Dream machine 2. Neutrals are not my favorite, I love bright colors but they are very necessary and get used often.
Hi Pat.. being a fairly new quilter i have not tried the aurifil thread.. i hear alot about it & would love to have those neutral colours.. i look forward to watching your videos each & every morning.. Thank You so much for what you do.. I clearly have alot to learn & i am enjoying every minute of it
Congratulations on your 29th Anniversary.
The Aurifil colors are great! Aurifl thread is my favorite thread to sew with. Thank you for your generosity—it would be a wonderful blessing to win this set from you!
Thank you Aurifil and Pat Sloan for the thread box giveaway. I may or may not make all the quilts I’ve bought fabric for, but I use Aurifil threads everyday I sew!
I use mostly neutral colors to piece with, but I love to use colors when quilting. Whenever I can I love that pop of color. Thank You for your videos. You have become a much loved part of my day. I am learning so much from you Pat. Thank You for all you do for us quilters. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.
I love aurifil thread. It works so well in my machine and the seam allowances. There’s hardly any fuzz in the bobbin area compared to other threads.
I generally just piece with an ivory color, and change thread for quilting usually.
I love Aurafilll thread.
I love. Aurafil thread.
I love to look at thread colors but mostly use neutrals. I’d love a change to try your perfect box of neutrals.
I have lots of colored threads mostly from my garment sewing days. I just used a variegated thread to quilt around the scrappy petals on a quilt.
I love thread colors but mostly use neutral because they are easier to use!
Aurifil thread is absolutely – bar none – the best quilting thread I’ve ever used! I am excited about this giveaway – would love to win! Here’s hoping
I love colors and neutrals. Together they make the world go round. Happy stitching everyone and thank you Pat Sloan!
CONGRATULATIONS Pat Sloan on your 10th Anniversary. I love starting my day watching your videos. You are such an inspiration to all of us.
I have heard so much about Aurifil thread, but don’t think I’ve ever used it. I guess I need to jump on the Aurifil bandwagon and try it.
Oh the neutrals are so pretty. The browns would be perfect on a quilt of fall colors that I’m going to make this year.
Use neutral thread the most in quilting.
Love your give aways
Love to start my day with your videos. I really enjoy the quilt alongs. I retired in 2019 and someone at church told me about you. so I decided to learn more about quilting. And I love it. You have taught me so much.
