I usually just put my pieces together with white or black thread. Then quilt it with a matching thread. Maybe it’s time to branch out and try colors
My favorite thread is Aurifil. I love neutrals for piecing and some quilting. I also use colors for quilting.
It is such an awesome thread to use. I especially like the Aurifil neutral thread.They are my go to.
I can always use more thread. It’s amazing how quickly it gets used up. I guess I sew more than I realize, but I enjoy every minute I’m creating quilts for family, friends and charities.

My BabyLock has decided she’ll only sew with Aurifil thread. Visited the repairman and he also confirmed it. He tried several different name brand threads and no go but as soon as rethreaded with Aurifil, she sewed perfectly so I could reallyuise this box as I’m having to reinvest in Aurifil thread
Yes, I love the Aurifil threads, it’s the only thread I use on my Babylock machine. The neutral are fabulous!
I am starting my first quilt now. My oldest daughter (she is 14 and has sewn more than I have, thanks to her grandmother) and I are being taught together. I love colors and neutrals! We have just learned about how the neutrals blend in to the fabrics.

I like the neutral colors. Aurifil #2370 has been my go to thread for piecing but have branched out to the lighter and medium gray.
I love adding colors to my stash! Amazing what beautiful colors do for your projects! I tend to use a lot of light gray for piecing. I use Aurifil on my long arm.

Colors colors and colors OH MY 🙂 I love colors in my fabrics and color in my thread when I’m doing hand quilting!! The neutrals are great for piecing. I’m kinda in the mindset.. do what you love; there isn’t quilt police out there LOL
I love Aurifil thread. The first box of thread I ordered when I started getting ready to start quilting was a box of Pat Sloan neutrals. I am getting low and would love to win this box.

I have always used Gutterman thread because that is what my LQS sells but i recently got a spool of Aurifil and i absolutly love it!!
I love colors and neutrals, both. I like having the color that matches the project I’m working on so I collect all the threads whenever possible.
I use Guttermann cream for piecing, but add colour when it comes to quilting. I use Aurifil for both hand and machine quilting. Congratulations on 10 years
