Colour is everything – I must have colour in my sewing world. A wall of threads is a thing of beauty
Piecing might be done in a neutral but a th final quilting should show all the colours
I mostly use neutral threads but appreciate having the right color when needed.
I’m a newer quilter and have only used neutrals so far.
Wonderful colors! Happy 10 Years!!
LUV !! my Aurifil thread
I love all thread colors. I have 4 boxes of Aurifill assorted colors, but I do generally quilt with cream, white or dove gray a lot.
Love the neutrals so there is less changing of thread.
Warm and Natural batting is my favorite.

I use neutrals, but have recently started EPP and applique, Aurafil is my thread choice when I can find it.
I have just a collection of neutrals. I am a relatively new quilter so I am just starting to collect thread colors. I love Aurifil thread!
Thanks!
I love all the colors but you have to have neutrals to bring them together. Would love to try Aurifil. Thank you!
Congratulations on 10th year Used Aurfil on my last quilt. Love
I love colors for topstitching and applique, but tend to use neutrals for most piecing and quilting because I tend to use contrasting colors and don’t like changing my thread if I can avoid it!
I am an English teacher making a quilt using blocks my 180 HS students have made. Aurifil thread in neutrals is perfect for piecing a multitude of blocks with crazy color combinations.
Hi Pat, I stockpile batting. I don’t want to be out at any time. Currently I buy my batting from Kingsman Supplies.
I use neutrals for piecing but have a large collection of 40 & 50 weight of colorful Aurifil thread for quilting and applique.
Aurifil is my absolute favorite! I’d be thrilled to win this gorgeous collection!
I love color, however when piecing I use mostly neutrals.
I like colors for applique, occasionally black. For piecing I tend to use neutrals. Most of the time I do use Aurifil threads.
Congratulations on your 10th anniversary. I’ve been watching your videos and enjoying the beautiful quilts on Facebook for only a few years. I generally piece with a light gray or beige, but I have a few bright colours that I use to quilt wall hangings.
I primarily use Aurifil thread. I have a good selection of colors as well as lots of neutral colors.
I love neutrals and lots of color
Oh, Pat! I love all the colors of thread! I love my Aurifil neutrals, but have many spools of colorful thread. Thanks for all you do for our quilting community, and Happy 10 year Anniversary!
I am primarily using neutrals when quilting … when sewing blocks, I use anything I can grab.
Yes please, as an international viewer we often are not able to participate so this is great. Thanks Pat.
Susannah – a typo! How embarrassing! I blame it on the cat on my lap.
Thank you for an international contest!
I use neutrals for piecing and colors for quilting.
I love matching thread colors for appliqué, and use mainly neutrals for piecing and quilting.
I have my favorite neutral aurifil colors, but really I love colour. I’d love to have one of each of the wonderful aurifil colors.
Congratulations on your anniversary. My 8 year old granddaughter loves to watch my quilting show with me. I’d love to win Aurifil thread. I’ve never tried it.
I’ve always used neutrals for the blocks and quilting, but I’m trying to go outside my comfort zone and quilt in brighter colors.
The canning jars are so great! Love all the mushroom fabrics. And the mushroom tree is fantastic! So magical! Would love to win the aurifil thread.
I have lots of thread and love the colors, but I tend to stick with a few neutrals for piecing.
I am new to quilting and I have not try them yet. I would love trying them.
Love Aurifil! Congrats on 10 year anniversary Pat!
I love sewing with neutral colors of thread for most of my sewing but I like a little color too, especially when topstitching.
Mostly I use a neutral shade of thread.
I love all colors of aurifil. Machine binding and try to match. Looks like your sew busy. Thanks for all your effort!!!
I use a few neutral colors for piecing but I have an array of colors when it comes to applique.
Would love to have a smorgasbord of Aurfil neutrals io chose from.
I meet with a sewing group once a week we share what you do on your videos. Would love to win the iron for us to use.
