I mostly use neutral thread colors, but occasionally use a color.
I love Aurafil thread and I have neutrals and some colors for appliqué.

Pat you are so inspiring. Sometimes I’m not sure about fabrics you put together and they always look great at the end! So I’m inspired to use things I’m not absolutely sure about. I LOVE thread of all colors and I have many but my go to is aurifil creams or grays. Love to watch your videos each morning and so miss them when you aren’t taping.

I have been switching my sewing thread to Aurifil over the past couple of years. I would love to have a collection of neutrals to build my threas stash.
Neutrals are great but have to have some colors also.
I buy by the bolt. My favorite is Warm and Natural, followed closely by Warm and White.
I stick to neutrals most of the time.
Hello! I watch everyday and love the community. I do not join as I do not know anyone but I feel a sense of belonging because it’s what I love! I use primarily neutrals at this time because I am not too independently creative. But! Once I give myself some creative grace, I hope to bring in beautiful color to me quilting. Piecing is generally white/ creams. Thank you for everything you do and can I say, my absolute favorite parts are when you are talking to yourself. You make me laugh…quilt wrangler, is just the most recent example. Absolutely perfect. – julia

I am new at applique and just love all the thread colors.
I haven’t been able to sew since I had Afib a couple of years ago. But finally, I’m getting my passion for quilting back. I made some blocks for a Quilt of Valor and some gifts for Christmas and I think I’m ready to roll. Love Aurifil thread, batting, and a new iron would be lovely.
I am a bit of a stick in the mud with the colour of my thread when piecing. Usually its white. But bring on the colours when its time to applique.

It would be wonderful to have Aurifil thread in my sewing room. I have not used Aurifil thread and would like to make a quilt with this tread to know how it sews, the amount of fluff it produces, and the finish. I have only been quilting for three years.

I use neutrals to piece and colors to quilt. My local shop doesn’t carry Aurifil, so I have never used it and after all of the positive comments about it I am anxious to try it out!
Aurifil threads are the best. They are very friendly working with my sewing machine.

I love all the colors, but have to admit that I mostly piece with neutrals.
I’m a beginner so the neutrals look like a must have.

Aurifil is my favorite thread. I mostly use neutrals to piece but I do love using beautiful colors when needed.
I have never tried Aurifil thread. I currently use Gutermann thread, but I want to move to Aurifil. Planning to finish up the Gutermann in the machine; then will try Aurifil.
I have never tried Aurfil thread and am interested, but it is expensive. I enjoy quilting and usually use beige colors for piecing. I also sew clothes and crafts and use matching thread for those items.

I recently made Oh my stars table runners and gave them to friends. I also own several of your books and have made numerous table runners or toppers.
I love having choice of colours of threads so I have a box of neutrals and a box of all the bright and pretty colours.
I usually use neutrals.
