  1. I have to buy everything on sale it kills me to pay regular price for something so I have some extra batting that I have gotten on sale.

  2. I love Aurifil thread and the first time I ever tried it was with the Pat Sloan Basic set. It is awesome thread and the set is perfect colors.

  3. I use Aurofil on my piecing and also have a small selection for top stitching. I have a few other weights: 40 and 12. My machines purr with Aurofil!

  4. Neutrals are great for piecing, but I do like to keep an assortment of colors, because sometimes only a matching thread will do:).

  5. I love colors for topstitching and fabric painting. For my piecing, I use 3 different colors that are neutral. All of my piecing of fabric is Aurifil. Machine loves it and so do I. Happy 10th Anniversary!

  6. I love the Aurifil thread. I keep a neutral ready to go. I was given some great colors from my daughter and have already used them. Would love to receive these, Thanks.

  7. Canning jars is my current project. Love you videos. Thanks for all the tips and hard work to keep this community going.

  8. I have found that my little Featherweight and my old Kenmore machine both sew perfectly if I use 50 wt. Aurifil thread, and I have been picking up a few Aurifil spools of various weights when I can. Doing big stitch hand quilting on my granddaughter’s bed side quilt was so much easier as the 40 weight glided so nicely thru the patchwork. I love the neutrals for piecing tho. This is a wonderful giveaway, I love Aurifil!

  9. Aurifil thread just works so great for all four of my machines. I love to have a variety of neutrals on hand for a variety of basic sewing projects, but love colors for machine quilting, and for large projects.

  10. I love using neutral thread colors when sewing. I think they blend the best. I probably use tan and white the most. Thank you for the giveaway.

  11. I mainly use Aurifil 2000 or 2021. But I do have a few neutrals (a few greys, black and navy). I am starting to collect an assortment of colors in the small spools. I love aurifil threads!

  12. I mostly use neutrals because I piece more than I top stitch. However, I like to have a small stash of bright colors for top stitching.

  13. Oooohhhh, I love Aurifil Thread. That is all I use although I have to admit that I don’t have very many of the colors in the box. I am slowing trying to buy more thread colors as I get more fabric.

  14. I have both colors ( from projects that just neede matching thread) and basic Gray, white, black. I’m have not used Aurofil yet but have heard wonderful things about it. Still learning my threads 😄

  15. I only use aurifil thread – so it would be fantastic to win this give-away! Wishing you again, a very happy anniversary Pat!

  16. The bulk of my thread collection is made up of neutrals for piecing, but I also have a good supply of colors which are used for top stitching, bindings and Applique.

  17. I usually use one thread color for all my piecing unless it’s a dark color fabric, but I have all color threads because all other projects I do. My favorite it’s Aurifil A1050-2000, that is all I use in my piecing.

  18. Pat, thank you and Aurifil for the lovely box of neutrals.
Always fun to participate in a give a way! Aurifil has been my go to thread since you introduced it!
    Thank you. Blessings, Dawn Lunn

  19. I use mostly white for piecing, but have been known to use colors for quilting! I’m sure I would find plenty of uses for these neutral colors, and I LOVE Aurifil thread! Thanks for the chance to win this prize!

  20. I usually use a neutral thread for all my piecing! Every now then when completing a project you must get out some beautiful colors of aurifil thread to do some top stitching on that special project that you just got to get finished up! Congrats on your 10th Anniversary!!!!!

  21. I tend to stick to neutrals for most of the piecing. Depending on the pattern, I may or may not use colors for the quilting.

  22. I use neutral for piecing, but color match when stitching on binding and or with applique. My machine is very paticular about thread and how it impact the tension, but Aurifil is one of the few brands I can use.

  23. I love all the colors. I love the large spools of solid colors when piecing quilts and the variegated colors for quilting. I love how Aurifil is low lint.

  24. I usually use neutrals, but do love colors as well. Aurifel thread is the best. Congratulations on 10 years!
