Love the neutrals – Aurifil threads are great!
I love using color rather than a neutral for piecing and quilting.
I love all colors depending on what I’m doing. I have a lot of colors and also keep neutrals.
Coming from a sewing & alteration background I have lots of colored thread. I piece with neutrals and use colored thread for the bindings and any appliqué I might do. Thank you for your continued inspiration!
10 years! Wow! I love Aurifil thread. I use different neutrals when piecing, but turn to colors when I appliqué and quilt.

I love to use neutrals mst of the time, white or light grey, however, will change to matching colour if the thread is going to show.

Enter. I’ve started the temperature quilts. Made my plan and color chart. Cut the color pieces today. I’m using temps from 2023 because I don’t want to take a year to finish it.

I love all the beautiful colours of threads! When a friend‘s mom passed away, she gifted me all of her moms thread collections, and it was her mom‘s great joy to have all of the colours of Gutermann thread that our local Walmart carry so she had a little racks with all of them in numerical order that now belong to me.
For piecing, though, I just use neutrals usually.

Congratulations on your 10 years! I used to use tons of colors in sewing for my kids, but now my newer machine balks at the OLD spools. Sew now I just use better thread and mostly neutrals.

I was able to attend an Aurifil event a few years–learnt all about the company and how the thread was made. It was very interesting. Neutrals are great to have on hand when inspiration strikes (or the last minute gift needs to be finished by tomorrow and it is now 8pm).

I have not used Aurifil thread before sew would love the opportunity to try it out. I like to match my thread colours with the fabric but the fabric colours of choice for most of my projects are Earth tones and autumn colours so the neutrals would be ideal. Thank you

I use lots of colors of thread. I tried cutting back to just neutrals when I got a new machine and didn’t want to invest in extra bobbins, but that didn’t last long.

I’ve not tried aurifil thread before, love all the colors.
My machine & I love Aurifil threads! I use neutrals for piecing. But… at the end of each project, my creative self can’t resist adding something extra using colorful thread!!! Is anyone else like that? I’m trying to build a “thread stash” but use it up as quickly as I buy it!!!

Occasionally I use color in my piecing but mostly I stick with basic neutrals. Of course if I’m machine appliqueing, I use matching colored thread to stitch. Thanks for the giveaways and congrats on your 10th anniversary!
I use mostly neutral color threads in piecing. I am just starting to machine quilt some with my walking foot, and I like to match the thread to the fabric or use medium gray. These threads would be perfect for me! I love your videos and community and you! I watch every video! Congratulations on your anniversary of the FB community! It is a special group!
I love all the Aurifil thread colors and am slowly building up my thread stash!
I prefer using neutral thread so that I don’t have left over threads after a project is complete that may not match another project.
I’ve learned to use neutrals for most of my piecing but when using dark colors I tend to match the predominate color.
I use Audition 2375 Antique Beige for hand piecing. It disappears on almost every fabric color. Red thread is a neutral color for me! Unexpected!
Thread in all colors is my cup of tea. I have one or your colorful Aurifil thread boxes and I use it a lot. I love know the color numbers sew that I can replace them as they get used up. Thank you and Aurifil for this lovely give away. I know that any of us would be sew happy to win it.

Happy 10th Anniversary! I’m so glad I was introduced to Aurifil thread many years ago and use it solely for my quilting projects. I mostly use neutrals but but have been stepping out of my box lately too! Thank you for the fun giveaways.

I have a a lot of colors that I have used for different projects for the grandchildren but tend to use neutrals when quilting.
I love all the threads, it depends on what I’m working on, the project always dictates the thread colour I use but it has to be a good thread like aurifil, it’s one of the best, I never have any problem with it. Dee Morrison

I love color thread! I piece mostly with a neutral but really like to use color on bindings, appliqué, and sometimes when quilting on my machine. The more colors the merrier is my mottto!
