  1. I turned year long QAL with Fat Quarter Shop into the wedding quilt for my brother and his new wife. I made the 9” blocks and the were perfect for a queen sized quilts. I had off white Minky used for the backing as they live in Kansas. It turned out great and they were happy.

  2. We got married outdoors and had hay bales for seating. I didn’t want my guests to have to be itchy the whole time, so we made over 50 small 3×3 quilts to cover the hay bales. After the wedding, we sewed the small quilts together to make bed sized quilts for gifts for our wedding party. And, of course, kept our favorite one. πŸ™‚

  3. I am making a Wedding Ring quilt now but only because I like the pattern. Maybe when I’m done I’ll have a couple to give it to.

  4. I made a quilt pattern titled Blended Hearts for a friend’s wedding. It was a fun project to make. I also used to read a lot of quilting fiction stories and I believe I would enjoy reading The Wedding Dress quilt book too. Thank you for sharing and teaching us via your videos.

  5. I have made quilts for each of my nieces and nephews when they married. I have made all sorts of patterns depending on each of their personalities. So far, the total is 10. I have also made wedding quilts for friends.

  6. Never made a wedding quilt made for other occasions never know I have a wedding coming up in 2024 that I may do one. Would love to read this book.

  7. I haven’t made wedding quilts. Years ago I bought the Wedding Ring templates but still haven’t made one. It’s still on my bucket list. I would love to win the book

  8. I made a queen-size sampler quilt to give to my sister to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary last year. I used a number of patterns from you to include in the quilt. She absolutely loves it and, couldn’t believe I did that for her.
Thanks for all you do and the opportunity to win.

  10. I’m really proud of the wedding quilt I made for my granddaughter and her new husband. It was a tan background with ssprays of appliqued purple flowers that I bedazzled with crystals. It won Best of Show at our local quilt show.

  11. I made a quilt for my niece when she got married from jeans with the color of her wedding. The jeans were from my deceased husband (her uncle). I had made several different quilts with his jeans for family members.

  12. I have made a couple of applique wall hangings for wedding gifts. I also made a signature quilt for one couple and a sampler quilt with blocks that had special meaning for another couple. Now I make pillowcases for the couples if I know some themes.

  13. I’ve only ever made one quilt as a wedding gift. They called off the wedding the week before so they didn’t get the quilt. It felt like bad luck. So I gave the quilt to charity as a fund raiser. Now I wait for the first baby instead.

  14. I made a lovely throw quilt from a sew sampler box. It was Bonnie and Camille fabrics and friend decided to hang it up.

  15. I made a double wedding ring in a king size for my son and daughter in law. I also made an exploding heart for a dear friend for her bridal shower.

  16. I have made a red and white wedding ring quilt.
This is the kind of novel that many members of my guild and I will enjoy. We like to pass around quilt-themed novels.

  17. I love to read books about quilting. I’ve enjoyed reading The Elm Creek Quilt books. I’m sure I would enjoy reading this one also.

  19. I have never made a wedding quilt. I have made quilts and given them to family but not for any special occasion.

  20. I began quilting five years ago and have not made a wedding quilt. Most of my friends and family have been married for decades, so I make 70th birthday quilts. Maybe I should start making 50th wedding anniversary quilts. πŸ˜€

  21. Unfortunately I have not made a quilt for a wedding gift. Maybe my skill set will be ready by the time my kids are ready to marry.

  22. I made (at the couples request) a Hunters Star Quilt for their wedding quilt. My granddaughter arrived before a wedding did and her name is Hunter, so they requested a queen size Hunters Star quilt as my gift to them. It turned out beautiful and they were so happy.

  31. The only wedding quilt that I have made was for my daughter and it was a “Walk in the Park” pattern with very light batik fabrics.

  32. I just made a cowboy boot quilt for a wedding. The wedding was blue boot themed. It turned out so cute!!!!

  33. I have made a quilt for wedding gift, but for the life of me all I can remember is the color way. It was a lovely forestry floral with a burnt-ish orange in it. I was lucky enough to find the exact orange. It was well received by the couple. Unfortunately, that was before I started getting pictures of my creations.

  34. I made a wedding photo quilt for my daughters wedding quilt, showing all kind of photos from her wedding and included her invitation to the wedding.
