  1. I made the March sew along as a wedding gift for my niece. Made in yellow and blues, hand tied and embroidered label on it.

  2. I haven’t made a wedding quilt for anyone else but I did complete your summer Solstice quilt for my bed. I used wool batting and it was quilted by Missouri Star. We needed the warmth for our Ohio winters.

  3. I just love wedding. And to make a quilt from a dress or any other memorable ideas makes it a keepsake of love. I would love to win your book of wedding.
Thank you Pat for all the beautiful ideas.

  4. I gave a quilt with large flowers of spring colors for my niece and her husband.
She got married on her grandmother’s birthday, that was special to us.

  5. I have made all my great nieces and nephews a wedding quilt which surprised them that I loved them enough to make such a wonderful especially since I don’t see them very often.

  6. Sept 2nd is my 69th birthday and this book would be a great birthday gift.
Today Aug 28th is my son’s 3rd wedding anniversary and I made my first quilt for him and DIL as a wedding gift. It was made with teals and sand colours and it looked like the beach. Fitting because that’s where they live.

  7. I made a wedding quilt for my niece and she had the guest sign it. It was beautiful and a keepsake with all the well wishes. I plan on making the wedding ring quilt for my daughter when she gets married in 2026. Lots of time for planing.

  8. A couple of years ago, Lori Holt hosted a red & white sampler quilt with a number of her block patterns. I made it with various fabrics of hers, all red or white of course. I finished the flimsy on time but hadn’t quilted it yet. When a friend got engaged this last spring, I knew I had to finish that one for them. I got it done and the night after the wedding they texted me a special thank you, they were honored to get such a gift they interrupted the honeymoon to let me know. So special.

  9. I made my granddaughter a fall fabric Paper Hearts with dark purple background quilt for her wedding and grandson a quilt from one of Sew Sampler boxes a quilt with burgundy and navy blue. Both get used all the time.

  10. I made a pin wheel blue, white, yellow quilt for my pastors son’s wedding gift. This book sounds interesting. Thanks for the chance to win.

  11. I have made several quilts for family and friends as a wedding gift. Most are requested and I have made the wedding ring pattern for a couple. Others were Hawaiian patterns. The last minute ones were often just a log cabin. My last one was for a family member who was diagnosed with cancer just before her wedding and even though she was not doing well she continued on with the wedding. She takes her quilt with her during her treatments and has stated that it gives her comfort and strength to push through this time.

  12. Haven’t made a wedding quilt yet, got into quilting after all my friends were married and we are in a generational gap! Plus still figuring it out!

  13. I made signature quilts for my 2 daughter’s weddings, I had cut squares of fabric and had the guest sign them. Then sewed them together to make the quilts.

  14. My first quilt I made, I did three versions (it was a Christmas quilt-a-long). Two for me (one Christmas & one regular) and one for my younger sister (regular) for her wedding shower gift. She opened it at the shower and hated it, while everyone attending the shower LOVED it & they even noticed it was hand quilted. This was my first quilt that I gifted, and also my last.

  15. I started with the panel Dream Big in blue. Than added 3 boarders, solids grunge matching the blue hues in the flower pedals. 5”, 4”, 3” in width. I stippled the entire quilt on my home domestic machine. My granddaughter likes blue, she just celebrated her 3 rd wedding anniversary. Dream Big dear Rachel.💓.

  16. I have not made a wedding quilt yet, but I have 3 granddaughters and I am working on quilts for them and putting them in MY cedar chest for my daughter to give them on special occasions after I am gone, I am 72 now and I want them to have a quilt to remember specail occasions I will not be present at such as a baby being born, a wedding, Christmas, a birthday a holiday and such, so mine at this time are works in progress at this time.

  17. I made a signature quilt for my stepdaughter and her husband, but it stayed in my UFO pile for almost 8 years. The bride neglected to send me some photos to include so I eventually “stole” a few from Facebook and completed it as a wall hanging. I’m not sure they even liked it as I never even got a thank you. She was the one who wanted me to make it. Oh well. On to the next project. 😄 This book looks like a fun read!

  18. I hope they do an audible version of yhe book! I love to listen while I sew! The Wedding Quilt sounds like a great story!

  19. I have not made a quilt for a wedding gift; I tend to make baby quilts and holiday themed wall hangings.
I love to read and have read all the books in the Jennifer Chiaverini quilting series as well as some of her historical novels. Your book seems like an interesting read.

  20. I have made some wall hangings for wedding quilts. I also made a wall hanging for a couple with the GPS coordinates for their first home! FUN!

  21. What an intriguing story! Hoping to win but I have to tell you that it’s a good thing the story wasn’t based in Gruene, TX! (Pronounced green!) There are quite a few strangely pronounced towns in Texas!

  22. I haven’t made a quilt as a wedding gift. I have made some flannel receiving blankets as baby gifts and I made quilted pot holders as a wedding gift.

  23. I haven’t made a quilt as a wedding gift. I did make a cute fabric sign for my son’s wedding that said “here comes the bride” I included fabric from the bride’s dress, my dress (which I made in 1976), and both of my daughter’s dresses. It is now a family heirloom.

  24. Making a Wedding Ring Quilt is on my to do list. Reading the Wedding Dress Quilt book sound like something I would love to read.

  25. I have made a few called The Puzzle Box Quilt for weddings mainly using Batiks. I love reading and have read several quilting series, my favorites are from the colonial era.

  26. The only quilt I have given as a wedding gift was a Turning Twenty. They appeared to love it. I love reading and would enjoy this book.

  27. My granddaughter is getting married on September 6. I am just now finishing the quilting on an Exploding Heart quilt for her.

  28. I have made only two quilts for weddings. One each for my two nieces who were married in the same year. They both loved receiving them.

  29. I have not made a quilt for a wedding gift but I’ve always loved the Double Wedding Ring design.

  30. What a beautiful book! I finished an antique quilt top by hand quilting it for a wedding gift. I’m glad some people are sentimental!

  31. I completed The mountains Are Calling quilt for a wedding gift for my. Nephew and his bride in Missoula this past July. We traveled out to Missoula to present the quilt to the happy couple.

  32. I haven’t made a wedding quilt. The size would be overwhelming! I love, love, love reading books that have quilt stories.

  33. I am currently making a Ruby Roads quilt as a wedding gift for my nephew. It’s going to Texas! It has bursting stars with a dark background.

  34. I made a king size quilt for son & DIL for their wedding. It had pictures of them growing up, dating, engagement pictures. DIL wants to save it. I said use it, don’t save it

  35. I made both my daughter and my grand daughter signature quilts for their weddings. Rather than have a guest book to sign everyone signed a quilt block with well wishes to them. Both turn out very well and my daughter has hers hanging on the wall
