  1. My grandson got married this year and his mother and I together made them a king size wedding ring quilt. It is a tradition for the mother and grandmother to make this together and it was a very rewarding experience.

  2. I started a wedding quilt for my daughter, got the top finished but still need s a couple of borders. Maybe I can finish it for her first anniversary..

  3. This first quilt I ever made was to be a wedding gift. However, the engagement was broken. I was so saddened by this that the quilt sandwich is still in a storage bag. It was an Irish Chain.

  4. My favorite wedding quilt was for my sister. It was the Heartfelt Quilt. She was so happy that I made it for her!

  5. I have not made a quilt as a wedding gift. I think that if I was going to do one it would be a lovely picnic quilt that I would pair with a picnic basket for the gift.
Thank you for the opportunity to win the book!

  6. My most recent quilt I have made for a wedding was a”stack and whack”. It looks like a kaleidoscope so my label said something like life being like a kaleidoscope of colors of many adventures. Will be gifted in September.

  7. I’ve made 2 quilts as wedding gifts. One was the Jelly Belly Bar and the second was Jelly Roll Sizzle. I enjoyed making these for family members for their weddings.

  8. The very first quilt I ever made was a simple one for my son’s wedding in 2009. It was nothing that would win a ribbon, but it was made from my heart.

  9. Each of my three kids received wedding quilts. One was a beachy volleyball quilt which is how they met; one was sort of scrappy and old-fashioned just like my daughter and one was in shades of blue, my DIL favorite color.

  15. I have not made a quilt for anyone’s wedding gift. But I have made several quilts for other occasions. Baby, Christmas, Birthday, and Graduation gifts have been made so far.

  16. No weddings in my family, but I do have the double wedding ring template that is on my bucket list to make. I want to do a scrappy one. Gotta do something with all these scraps I have, and I think it would be a nice way to use them. See all the remnants of previous quilts.

  17. My favorite wedding quilt to make is the pattern Yellow Brick Road. It uses fat quarters is very easy and I make it lap size and in colors to either coordinate with their living room, if I know what those are, or my favorite was when I had a bunch of gorgeous flannels in fall colors and I used those for our niece’s fall wedding.

  18. I have not been quilting long, so have not had the opportunity as yet to make a wedding quilt. That could be in the future for my granddaughter when she is old enough. I enjoy your daily videos and have learned several tips from you. This book looks like a fun read.

  19. The only quilt I made as a wedding gift was for our youngest son and his new wife. It was a mashup of 2 GE designs. It was king sized and turned out beautiful.

It’s 4:15 am here when your live comes up so I always have to rewatch it as my eyes take naps the first time and I miss parts. Love your videos. Thank you for inspiring.
