My favorites are Promise Me, because I love the deep pinks and greens with the contrasting lighter shades–and who can go wrong with flowers!, and I also really enjoy Birdsong, with its softer colors, lots of blue, and birds, sweet birds!

My favorite childhood memory is the neighbors sand box. As a kid it seemed like the size of a football field. In reality it was more likely 10′ x 10′. Each kid had a place to sit and make a house and roads. We all had small cars and we would “drive” to someone else house. One kid had a “car lot” and we would go there to trade in our cars for a new one. Good times. Is there a sand box quilt block?
