The wheel goes round and round .. i looked that up, they go round and round on the school bus.. I'd forgotten that little song!
It was SO exciting the day I got a spirograph, the endless hours of playing with it were so much fun. I am also a geeky kid so I liked storing it too and finding new pen colors .. of course!

My girlfriend (canβt sew a button) and I just got back from a 4 day trip to Tennessee for the 26th annual Smokey Mountain Quiltfest. It was wonderful and if I could plan another quilty trip, it would be to another Festival full of quilts from people that love quilting as much as I do.
I am unable to get the directions for Childhood Games Block 4. Is there a problem with the program. I have been able to download all the other blocks and print them but this one I can’t get to download so I can print it. Please help me

I loved my Spirograph as a kid. So much, that I have one still! I get it out every once in awhile and make my masterpieces with all the different colors of ink. π
You asked what is my favorite notion. While I like all the new ones I have gotten my favorite is the rotary cutter. My hands would not be able to do all the cutting for a quilt.
Finally got back in the sewing room and got caught up just in time for another block on Wed. Now to get caught up on Drive down Bonnie Lane! So far I think block 4 is my favorite, but I am really enjoying them all and using some fun fabrics in them.
I bought a large spirograph set for my daughter (age 49 years) last Christmas, she loves it.
I love this block because I loved spirographs so much when I was a kid. I still have mine from when I was about 10 (am now in 60’s) and added another couple of sets since and still use now and then. Good stress relievers.
Love love all the blocks you have designed for the Childhood games..very creative!
I loved my Spirograph and the one colors. I know what you mean about storing it too!ππ
I loved the Spirograph, used so much paper making true works of art π
I loved the Spirograph with those special colored pens. They didn’t fit with the Spirograph, but one Easter my mother put colored markers in our baskets–the first markers we’d ever had. (Magic Markers had permanent ink and could ruin our clothes, so our teachers used them occasionally but wouldn’t let us write with them.) We so enjoyed those markers with their spring colors of aqua, pink, and light green, with dark purple.
I loved my Spirograph.Another was the etch a sketch. Turning the little white knobs to draw.
When you said games that spin my first thought was Pin the Tail on the Donkey which we played at all my birthday parties. We would get blindfolded and then spun a round. That donkey had tails in so many places haha!
I love this block! So cute in your pink and white fabrics. Really enjoying this sew-along. K-
The Spirograph was the thing to have, but it was too expensive so I got a fake one. It required ultimate attention or it went wrong.
Still liked it though.
