  1. I would like to make the Bonus project for Block 2. Are all the squares the same (just turned differently) when putting together?

  2. I am amazed at how much difference the contrast or lack of contrast makes in each block. Gives me lots of ideas on how to go about my next one.

  3. In one of your Fireside chats, can you provide a list of places where we can donate our leftovers from some of your sew alongs that we participate in? I have already made a few scrappy quilts and I am ready to just give the left over bundles to a worth cause. Thanks!

  5. We didn’t play Chinese checkers much, I think we lost the marbles too much. I really am loving all the memories this quilt is bring back though!

  6. I remember playing that with my cousins in the summertime. They had the board game and beat me everytime because I had learned from them. Brings back memories of dust devils and hopping into them on that dusty dirt road. Happy childhood memories!

  10. We played Chinese Checkers with our grandchildren often. They found a Christmas Tree ornament of a chinese checker board and we proudly hang it on our tree which has become a Memory Tree. Love the game.

  11. My 1st thought before I read your caption Chinese Checkers was Dominoes. Maybe because my grandmother played it with me all the time. It’s an easy game to teach & my niece gets as excited as I did when the opponent has to go to the bone yard for more tiles. Growing up we had a Chinese Checker Board but I think we used it more to make patterns with the marbles.

  12. Scones are a food that when I lived out west I ate all the time I miss it here in Ohio! That’s my Western food memory also Dutch oven desserts are the bomb!!!
