🍄 BIG CHANGE Please READ

Hi My friend!

The company that I have used for many years to send out emails notices, is closing on Aug 30.  They were bought and the parent company is closing the product.

I've decided to use a different service called 'Follow It' that allows you to follow any website's new articles.  I wish I did not have to change things but I have zero choice since the product will be gone on Aug 30. 

Another option is to get notices of my videos by subscribing, which is free, at   https://www.youtube.com/user/PatSloan?sub_confirmation=1

FAQ:

  • IT IS FREE, if you are asked for a Credit Card than you clicked an ADVERTISEMENT not my signup. There is a HUGE box below for signup. READ CAREFULLY, take your time. Don't go clicking around on things that you didn't read properly.
  • Several of you wrote to ask if I am a scammer.. no.. it's still me, Pat Sloan, and this is an annoying change i have to deal with.

  • Why is there a RSS or ATOM or some other words AFTER ILOVETOMAKEQUILTS?  – Those are the technical behind the scene ways that notices are sent. You can google the term RSS FEED to learn more if that interests you. I do not know WHY this company puts that there as it is confusing, but it is there. Just ignore it
  • If you are on mobile and have trouble, switch to a non-mobile device like a laptop.  I do not have the ability to trouble shoot tech issues. You can contact the company if you are having issues and they will help you out

  1. Yes, that made me wary too, and the email told me “hi cgraham3”. Have no idea why that was on there. Nothing about that is me.

  3. Referring to my comment I just posted, there is nothing about my email address that would say “cgraham3” that it said Hi to.

  4. So I did what was said to do, and I got an email asking me to confirm I was not a robot, twice. It said “Hi Cgraham3” and to please activate my subscription to feed “ilovetomakequiltsrss” Is this what it should say?? Looks off to me.

  5. thank you! it is very hard to change thing, time consuming and then people all think it is a scam so i have to spend many hours on emails and communicaiton and extra stuff.

  12. Signed up. Was easy. They sent an email to confirm. So sorry you had to make changes. They are always so hard, but it will all be fine in the end. I follow other quilters through this site.

  17. Ruth I don’t know what you mean. I can’t be any more clear than this post. So either continue to get my emails by subscribing to the new FREE service, or just don’t get my emails anymore after Aug 30. Your choice

  19. Sign up was easy. Put in my email, clicked bar to confirm and they sent me an email to confirm my subscription. Never was asked for CC. Pat sorry you are having to deal with this.

  47. I was able to find it. That was something else I clicked on. A sports package but it was showing on the website for Pat. An advertisement.

  49. That is for something different. I saw that too. Go down a little further to a small box outlined in black. It will say something above it about Pat.
