🍄 BIG CHANGE Please READ

Hi My friend!

The company that I have used for many years to send out emails notices, is closing on Aug 30.  They were bought and the parent company is closing the product.

I've decided to use a different service called 'Follow It' that allows you to follow any website's new articles.  I wish I did not have to change things but I have zero choice since the product will be gone on Aug 30. 

Another option is to get notices of my videos by subscribing, which is free, at   https://www.youtube.com/user/PatSloan?sub_confirmation=1

  • You have to sign up for it yourself. It is FREE and you can also add other websites, so it's a really nice reader.  This screen shot is what you fill in below. I'm sorry I can NOT customize it, so this is where you enter BELOW

FAQ:

  • IT IS FREE, if you are asked for a Credit Card than you clicked an ADVERTISEMENT not my signup. There is a HUGE box below for signup. READ CAREFULLY, take your time. Don't go clicking around on things that you didn't read properly.
  • Several of you wrote to ask if I am a scammer.. no.. it's still me, Pat Sloan, and this is an annoying change i have to deal with.

  • Why is there a RSS or ATOM or some other words AFTER ILOVETOMAKEQUILTS?  – Those are the technical behind the scene ways that notices are sent. You can google the term RSS FEED to learn more if that interests you. I do not know WHY this company puts that there as it is confusing, but it is there. Just ignore it
  • If you are on mobile and have trouble, switch to a non-mobile device like a laptop.  I do not have the ability to trouble shoot tech issues. You can contact the company if you are having issues and they will help you out

  5. Sign up was very easy. And it looks easy to add other sites. I did notice however, that when I go to your link it says ‘Publisher Unclaimed’ and it offers a link to claim the site. Just an FYI. So someone else doesn’t take it from you. Have a great day!

  8. I truly am trying to sign up. I can’t imagine how frustrating this must be for you. My question is in the paragraph I copied and pasted above. The web address says “ilovetomakquiltsRSS”. I have never seen the rss before. The date shows Sept 8, 2024.
    Is this correct info? Thank you so much!

  9. I already have follow it and and cannot follow any more. I am at the limit for free. With hubby on disability I cannot upgrade at all for now. I did contact them to find out who I might have followed but no longer get emails for. Hope that pans out. Barring that I have you bookmarked. So maybe I will remember to go through the list in my bookmarks for quilting. Sorry you had to choose follow it. it just not gonna work for me.

  16. You just put your email into that space and hit enter like i told you and showed you. They assign you to my feed. If you decide to go through their system, then you have to ask them how to do it that way. contact their tech support. it is more steps than my way

  17. Pat how do we find you on follow it? I have searched and it says sorry nothing available?

  19. right here you are C GRAHAM .. put that togehter… CGRAHAM …. not a mystery there. Then that service puts a number on the end for some reason. You can contact their tech support to get more clarification
