I love to challenge us all to finish up Main Street, me included!  With my travel I did not get to work on the borders yet. I plan to have my borders done by the end of the month.

The next 3 Block Wednesday's I'll be sharing free patterns, then on Oct 2 we start the next sew along. I hope to have the details on that by the Sept 18th, if not before.

  1. Unfortunately I did get to finish the Main Street quilt yet because my machine broke. Hoping to get it done as soon as the machine comes home

  2. Really enjoyed being a part of Main Street 2019, my first time and very inspired by everyone’s beautiful work. My goal was to really slow down, learn new techniques, refine ole techniques, and select light colors. In the past I tried to really avoid triangles as much as possible and use such a variety of blocks in one layout, but this was a DELIGHT to push me into the unknown which makes me scratch my head and wonder why I was so resistant? I know, its you and all the other quilters who make the journey a ‘family’. Thank you for what you do and include us all.

  3. Love this pattern!! Thank you Pat for getting me out of my comfort zone & using colors I wouldn’t normally choose. I can hardly wait for Your next sew along! 🧵

  4. I have to get a baby quilt done before I go any farther. My wonderful Main Street has to wait. The baby is already 3 months old!!

  5. Pat, I finished my Main Street quilt top today, just before you posted that you would like to see us finish before September 30th. I like it! It is #451 on the posts above. I used fabrics from my stash; prints mixed with batik and I like how it turned out. Thank you for this weekly quilt along project. It is the first one I have done. I also am sewing the Witches Night Out Halloween sew along. I got behind because of travel (I know you understand). So, I sewed like crazy over the past two days to catch up. Feels great!

  6. This should be fun and will give me the push I need to finish. Thank you.
Looking forward to seeing all the amazing quilts.
