It's ALL about timing this week!

Buds don't just come out just one time a year, if you stage your garden by bloom time, you will have new blooms all season!
I have a few tips below for you.

Fabrics I'm Using
THE DOWNLOAD is ALWAYS at the end of my article HIGHLIGHTED IN PINK, so keep reading
TIP: This is how I cut the strips for the frame
- A square, but NOT edge to edge as I want the option of how I can use the remainder of the fabric.
- Then cut the strips from the square

Die Cut Triangles
- I'm HOOKED on cutting my triangles with my Gemini, there is NO trimming and NO dog ears.
- Just cut, sew, press!

Pat,
I have ALWAYS been partial to tulips and so very happy that you included a tulip block in this pattern. I knew you would as tulips are so very popular!! I am so enjoying seeing everyone’s blocks. How happy I am to see such wonderful “gardeners.” I still haven’t started. I think I am going to make one of my sisters a 4-square tulip wallhanging in purples, green and a tiny bit of yellow (maybe) for their bedroom. I am making a huge “friendship braid” for their bed in all kinds of purple fabrics so I thought that would be great to coordinate. There is just NO color in their custom built home and their furniture. So, I will have fun making things for their home. I made a Christmas quilt for them one year and she was using that all year long for her naps. She is so much like my mom that way. lol I have the quilt I made my mom over 30 years ago. It sure has a lot of wear on it. Thinking about fixing all the worn spots as I still have fabric—-even though that still looks new!! WOW, huh? Thank you, Pat, for taking all the time you do for these wonderful BOM’s or weeks!! Piece, love and blessings, Vicki
Mary select the fabric from the top that you love the best and use it for backing! i’m partial to one of the florals or text prints. You can see them at http://shrsl.com/1kcic
