  1. My favorite flower is peonies. But I really love all flowers. Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful kit.

  2. Hello Pat. I too am a tree hugger and do my best to be conservative to pass on a better plan it to our heirs. My favorite flower would have to be lavender because of the scent. It also is a wonderful backdrop to all the other flowers, and plays nice with others.

  3. I love Cut and Come Again Mixed Color Zinnias. There are several reasons: in PA I can just plant seeds in my flower bed and very quickly I have plants and then blooming flowers. This variety gets pretty tall, so the plants can be seen easily from the road in front of our house. Finally, the butterflies and moths love these flowers. It’s fun to watch the many species that appear.

  4. My favorite flowers are Lily of the Valley. The scent is amazing. The only problem is the uncontrollable spread of them. I also love Iris and Peonies.

  5. I have two – Columbine in all of the colors, and Bachelor Buttons. My Grandmother had these two flowers in her flowerbeds.

  6. So many to choose from. This time of year my favorite is peonies. When I was growing up our neighbor had them lined across the back of their yard. Unfortunately for them, we would use them as hurdles as we cut across their yard to ours.

  7. I love sunflowers. I successfully grew some giant ones for the first time last year. They just towered over my fence!

  8. I grew up with a backyard full of peonies thanks to my mom. Reds, pinks, and white. So, maybe peonies. I do love the delicacy of orchids and ladyslippers. Favorite flower…hard to choose just one.

  9. My favorite flower is the gerber daisy. I love the bright colors it comes in and I love any daisy shaped flower. They makes me smile!

  10. Bird of Paradise….very special to my heart as it was my Daddy’s favorite❤️

  11. My favorite flower is the daisy. I have loved them as far back and I can remember. I really don’t know why, but I do.

  12. Sunflowers are my favorite flower. Twice my husband planted a field of them. It’s stunning to see fields of them. I also planted many varieties of them in my garden [ the novelty kinds].

  13. I love my hibiscus flowers because of their beautiful colors. I also love bluebonnets. They are among the earliest to bloom in the spring and when there”s been enough rain they cover sides of roads and fields in beauty.

  14. My absolute favorite flower is the Peony! I have 4 peony bushes in my yard, that are descendants from my great grandfather’s gardens. They are not only beautiful, but extremely fragrant and I just love them! Too bad they are such a short-lived flower, but I have others that bloom all summer (black-eyed Susan’s as well.)

  15. My favorite flower is a Sunflower. It is a bright and cheerful flower that follows the sun while attracting pollinators and providing seeds for the birds and wildlife.

  16. It’s hard to pick a favorite because I love them all, but I’ll say the Hibiscus because it feels like summer or being in a tropical environment!

  17. I love the flower on the Magnolia tree. It’s a large, sweet smelling, creamy flower that reminds me of the magnolia trees in Louisiana when we would visit my mother’s cousin at the Carmelite monastery in Lafayette.

  18. My favorite are lilacs. I think the lovely smell they have plus the fact they are my favorite color of purple is what puts them on the top of my list.

  19. My favorite flower is lilac. Does that count since it’s a bush? Otherwise, it is lily of the valley. I grew up with 3 or 4 lilac bushes in our yard. The park 1/2 block away had 1 entire side bordered with lilac bushes
    Thanks for the contest!

  20. My favorite flower tends to change with the seasons. Right now, being spring, I love the pansies with their cheerful and colorful little faces. The black eyed Susan pattern would be great to have finished for late summer!

  21. I love Tulips!! It was a favorite flower of my fathers mother and the did a home movie of me as a 3year old going along the garden bed smelling each one! I like that older tulip varieties come up first with their bright colors and then the newer pale varieties come along later to give my garden a whole new look!!

  22. My favorite flower is the red rose. I’ve loved them since I was a child. Winning a kit would be amazing as it’s a great size.

  23. My favorite flowers are Petunias. They are so easy to take care of and they bloom all summer long plus into the fall. Thank you Pat for the opportunity to win this kit. Youy’e the best!

  24. I love black eyed Susan’s but my favorite flowers are old fashioned roses. They have such a wonderful scent

  25. I kind of like a good ol Carnation. Fun embarrassing fact, I thought they were called begonias until I was about 20. In fact I thought a lot of flowers were different versions of begonias. My grandpa called everything a begonia. I adored him and just took his word for it. So when I got my own place for the first time and started a flower bed I was stunned that some of my favorite flowers were, in fact, not called begonias. Embarrassing. Now my grown kids call every flower a begonia and I get tickled.

  26. I love black eyed Susan’s, but I think tulips are my favorite! I always wait too late to plant the bulbs in the fall. I’m planning on doing some gardening in the next few days and will have to remember to take it easy. The quilt kit is lovely!!

  27. I love hyacinths. They are one of the first flowers of spring. I love their vibrant colors and smell.

  28. Sunflowers are my favorites. I love how they follow the sun and make seeds to feed the birds. Although I am partial to Blackeyed Susans for obvious reasons.

  29. My favorite flower is the coneflower. It comes in a variety of colors and has a long bloom time. My only problem is rabbits love then too and eat them to a nub.

  30. I love the smell of Jasmine flowers. They have such a delightful scent and it’s such a nice surprise when walking by them in my neighborhood. I wish they would stay around all year. It was nice to see your video again today after the weekend break.

  31. My favorite flowers are lilacs, especially purple lilacs because my grandmother loved them and they remind me of her. Living in New England, our Lilacs usually bloom around Memorial Day and there is a purple lilac tree/bush near her grave that is very fragrant and beautiful in an understated way, just like my grandmother was.

  32. Hi Pat, my favorite flowers are the Dahlias, they are so full of color, specially the ones with multiple colors.

  33. Lilacs are my favorite flower. They smell so good. Often mine don’t bloom because of late season frost in our area. Happy Spring:)

  34. Love day lilies, once established they come back again and again and they are beautiful. Would love to win the kit.

  35. Hi Pat! My favorite flower is the lilac. I love the scent and I think they are beautiful. I grew up with lilacs and maybe there is a bit of nostalgia there as well.
