I like that you’re showing fabrics in your videos, too, because I cannot shop for fabric online. It’s too hard to see what it looks like. I also watch Fat Quarter Shop when they show upcoming fabrics, and I make notes of the ones that I like in order to buy them as soon as they are released.

  23. My favorite Christmas quilt is actually family Christmas socks made in the 1970s as we were starting our family. My hubby’s sock was first. Then each time a child was born a Chrisymas sock was srated. They are crazy quilt socks with christmas material and all sewn by hand. They are heavily embroidered abd had fussy cut pieces. Each year a new little something likea button, tiny toy, pin or patch was added to the socks. Love that quilt on the cover of this book. Thank you for making our time with you so much fun.

  24. My Mother made a winter quilt from a snowy winter scene that was cut up into pieces and put into a very intricate window pane type block. it is absolutely gorgeous. It has a lot of pieces and is not typically something she would make and that makes it even more special. Thank you for the great videos and all the work you do to prepare them. You are a great resource for quilters everywhere!

  25. My favorite winter quilt is the one I made from Lori Holt’s Vintage Christmas book. I made the one with all of the six inch blocks. It was a lot of work but so fun to make. A close second is the Bringing Home the Christmas Tree we did together as a sew along. Thanks for all you do.

  26. I don’t have a fav Christmas quilt yet…,Hoping to make one in near future!

  27. Good morning! My favorite Christmas quilt is the very first one I made. It was done with a group at a quilt shop in Lancaster Ohio in the early 1990’s. It is a sampler with all hand piecing and hand quilting. Includes a sun bonnet Sue, drunkards path, bow tie, etc. I can’t wait till it’s time to get it out each Christmas!
It’s so sweet of you, (as usual), to give such fun things away💕
    Have a great day,
    Sandy Whitcraft

  28. Can’t remember the name right now, but, I loved the winter quilt with the cute critter faces….I made it in the flannel and it is still waiting for me to quilt it….Holiday Homies…..I was able to fussy cut the inbetween critters and make a small version of the quilt, too…
