  1. I love all fabric sizes. Have only ever made one layer cake quilt so maybe it’s time for me to make another? Maybe with Drawing Room?? We’ll see. 🙂

  2. I love layer cakes as I can get 4 charm paks out of them to make small charity quilts. Also, love jelly rolls.

  3. Please draw me as I would like to try some of your fabric, I have been watching you for a while and have been learning sew much from you. I did make your Tantalizing Table Toper and was so trilled that you even posted it on your daily video. I made that all from scraps.

  4. I so enjoy the daily video’s and your sharing on the how to and what looks good. I am a past clothing sewer switched to quilting just prior to retirement. Thank you for this option to learn from daily. Would like to start on of your projects not sure If I could keep up. Thanks again.

  5. I guess I’d say I like fat quarters best as there’s a little more to work with but I like it all, really.
This fabric is so pretty! I would be so excited to win!

  6. So many quilting options with a layer cake; a runner, wall hanging, lap quilt. And the drawing room fabric has many wonderful patterns. So enjoying watching Pat Sloan’s videos.

  7. It would be great to win a fat quarter. I could try some things I have been looking at. Plus you can never have too much stash, lol

  8. I love Fat Quarter Bundles the most. I like to starch and I feel like it gives me a little extra so that if I make any cutting errors or a major boo boo then I have a bit of a buffer for that. I like Layer Cakes and they have been my favorite but once I started using starch I began ordering FQ Bundles for insurance.

  9. I love using layer cakes. They are a great way to get the entire collection of a fabric line. And there are so many wonderful patterns for 10 inch squares!

  10. Never owned a layer cake, would love to actually have a layer cake, than me cutting them. Thank you for just the chance to own one.

  11. I like fat quarters for the variety of fabric and the varied shapes and sizes that can be cut…though charm packs can make quick charity quilts.

  12. Charm packs. Although I have a few jelly rolls and layer cakes as well. I appreciate all of your sharing. Thank you.

  13. I love the fabric! I like layer cakes, but I prefer fat quarters. The reason is I can cut a layer cake square, some charm squares and even some jelly roll strips.

  14. I love to use layer cakes! Watch your videos everyday and I am learning a lot about auditioning fabrics with patterns. Thank you for being such a positive being and inspiration!

  15. I love fat quarter, you can cut so many things from them. There are lots of patterns you utilize them with. For me it more affordable to buy fat quarters…Love your youtube videos.

  16. I like fat quarters for the flexibility in cutting. That said I’m also trying out the different ways to make HST using a 10″ square. Kind of fun learning a new technique!

  17. I am s-l-o-w-l-y working my way thru packing boxes of fabrics going back decades. Yes, I know – hard to do with all these beautiful new fabric designs out there. So, true confession: I have never bought myself a layer cake. It would be thrilling to win one. Thanks for the chance, Pat.
And thanks for the inspiration and encouragement you have sent out into the world. I met you on-line when Covid just began and you were a lifesaver. I made your March quilt, and later the Snowflake from FQS. But I use my own fabrics. Sometimes that is a challenge, but I’ve promised myself I will use it up. Making charity quilts now after a 2-year hiatus since my husband of 50 years died. It feels so good to be sewing again.

  18. I have to say that my favorite pre-cut has to be a layer cake and a very close second are fat quarters. But I love fabric no matter the cut!

  19. My favorite precut is a fat quarter bundle, but when I purchase one, I usually buy a charm pack in case I make a mistake.

  20. You give me so much incentive with your friendly, down-to-earth instruction. Thanks to you & the “Shipping Dept.” for all you both do for your quilt family! LOVE the Oh My Stars pattern & made the Solstice Quilt! God Bless!

  21. I like working with Fat quarters. There larger size gives enough fabric to make a variety of projects with the scraps I can make squares or strips.
