I purchase batting as I need it. If I am lucky enough to win the batting, I will donate it to my quilting group as we make quilts for those in need.
I have a roll of Warm and Natural cotton and buy other types as I need them.
Hi – I have a small supply of batting on hand because I want to have it when I need it. I get what I can on sale and because of supply issues did that so I don’t have to worry. It gets used up too fast, though.
I stock up on batting when it’s on sale. Thank you for your videos….coffee and Pat are how I start my day.
I have done both. Usually i just get what I need but when I have a stack of quilts (usually always!) I have bought a roll of batting so I was set to quilt when i have time.
I run through batting so fast, would love to win a roll!
I like to keep 80/20 batting stocked. I purchase a big roll whenever I can and then I’ll have smaller poly and cottons for baby blankets and such.
I am so excited for a chance to win a bolt of my favorite batting! I try to replace batting as I use it, but it would be so nice to have a whole bolt! Thank you for this opportunity, Pat and congratulations on your 10th Anniversary!
A roll of batting would be awesome. I love their product!
I have a neighbor who has a fabric store one mile from my house so I usually buy my battings from her but a roll would be so convenient. Especially for those wider quilts. Love your daily tutorials Pat. Thank you for all you do for us.
Hi. I usually buy packaged batting Warm and Natural brand.
I tend to buy batting when I find a sale. I usually have some waiting for my next project.
Hi, I buy a couple of packages of batting when I see it on sale. I have wanted to buy a roll because I saw where someone had it hanging on the wall. They put doweling through the center & attached a rope or chain to the ends & just rolled it off as needed. It was a great idea.
I’m new to quilting just received a Cutie frame so I can quilt my tops and need batting to complete the dozen tops I have completed over the last two years with your quilt alongs, Pat!
I always keep a stock of batting for all sizes of quilts, buying when on sale when possible. It’s so satisfying to be prepared!!
I plan to buy a bolt this year, up to now, I have just bought what I need.
Both! I keep different types on hand so I’m ready to quilt. Warm and Natural is a go to for me..
I like to have batting in hand so when I am done I can be done,
I try to stock batting, but sometimes I can’t pass up a deal. I’m huge fan of Warm Company batting.
A bolt of batting would be super fantastic and so inspiring. I love making quilts of all sizes and this lovely bolt would be so helpful. I have my first grand baby coming in May. I alway buy a king size bag of Warm and Natural needled cotton batten or the Warm and Natural white cotton. And cut from those. So if I were to win a bolt of Warm and Natural batting. It would be a dream.
I always use Warm and White batting. I tell my kids when I’m running low and they give me king size packages for Christmas or Mother’s day.
I do try to keep stocked up on batting. Warm and natural is my go to. ❤️
I buy stock batting for our church group which makes quilts to give locally and to Lutheran World Relief. For my own use I buy individual batts of various fibers and colors depending on their purpose
Would love a bolt of batting, I am just now out of 80/20. Thank you for the opportunity to win. Congratulations on such a successful 10 years on FB.
I usually buy what I need
I buy batting for projects I have coming up.
Would be such a treat to always have batting on hand!
I like to keep batting on hand. So when I need it I have it.
Would love this batting for my Millie APQS!!
I stock batting as then I can cut off what I need depending on the project.
I stock a roll of batting as it’s easier to cut what I need depending on the project.
I have a few prepackaged sizes which I catch on sale sometimes. It would be amazing to have a whole roll however.
I buy stock batting for our church quilts which are given locally and to Lutheran World Relief. It is our biggest expense as people will think to donate fabric or threads. For my own quilts I buy batting of various fibers/colors depending on the intended use.
I definitely buy the bolt or off the bolt. I like to be economical. I use the smaller pieces for smaller pieces, then franken-batt for cat mats.
Congratulations on 10 years
I buy batting from my longarm quilter. Love your videos.
Beth
I love your batting, Right now I’m making 5 quilts UFO’s. And trying to keep batting stocked up is issue being on budget.
I buy batting whenever I find it on sale to keep it for my next project.
I have one bolt of backing but I have six flimsy to sandwich. This might motive me to finish. Congratulations on 10 years

Oh I have six flimsey that need sandwiched and this would motivate me to finish them
Congratulations on your big 10!
I buy batting as I need it.
I keep a roll of batting, but also buy as needed for king size or if I want a specialty batting or black. So both!
I buy a roll of warm and white off of Amazon. If I make a king size quilt, I have to buy a package because I don’t want to piece. The batting
batting makes me happy!
I buy batting in the KING size and use it for several quilts. Unfortunately, that means lots of little leftovers. If I’m desperate, I sew them together for a baby quilt. A roll of batting would certainly be welcomed! Thanks for your daily videos and humor each morning!
Love your videos – yes give away!
Wowsa, a whole bolt of batting is dreamy!
I try to keep batting on hand, although I do have to buy by project most times.
