  1. I struggle with colors so my favorite type of fabric to purchase is a set that coordinates; like layer cakes, jelly rolls and such. I recently discovered I could buy 1/2 yard bundles! Wow, game changer!! I store them together instead of separating by color. And yes, I bought Pats Drawing Room 1/2 yard bundle for the upcoming What’s in your Closet!

  2. I love all sorts of fabrics! I especially love novelty fabric whether it be foods, candy and drinks. I have to say that the Peanuts gang is really my favorite. I love Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Woodstock.

  3. Wow, to choose just 1 or 2 fabrics I prefer is very difficult. I am partial to yours of course, but I am also a Tula Pink and Kaffe Fassett fan.

  4. Oh, how I would love to win the $150 gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop!I’ve often looked that their site & dream about which quilt kit I would buy. There are so many beautiful kits.
I think the charcoal backing print is the one to choose. It’s beautiful & goes perfect with the border fabric.

  5. The fabric I love generally depends on the project I’m going to do. I have really enjoyed Camille Roskelly’s soft colored beach cottage prints, doing the last 2 years Designer mystery SAL with the FQS. Romantic florals, soft pastels, holiday, whimsical prints – they all appeal to me at different times. I buy what I like regardless of the designer or manufacturer. 😊

  6. My current fun fabric to buy is Tula Pink’s and anything from the Fat Quarter Shop! What a generous prize that would be sew fun to win!!

  7. Of course your fabric is our favorite! Actually I don’t think I’ve seen a line of yours that I haven’t liked. My second favorite would be a tie between Lori Holt and Cori Yoder. As a matter of fact if I win I’m totally buying the Mercantile fat quarter bundle lol. Thank you, Pat!

  8. I absolutely love Ruby Star Society fabrics! I love the salvage of their fabrics. It’s so fun to use . It is just as pretty as most of the fabric lines. I love fun fabrics and most of the Ruby Star is fabulous. Also love the Rileyblake and Moda. To be honest, I am a fabric addict!!!!

  9. It’s easier to say what I don’t like than it is to say what I like but I’ll try. I like batik fabrics. After that I’d say I pick a variety of fabrics – I like Corey Yoder, Sheri and Chelsie, Camille Roskelley. I’ve started to get into some of the more modern patterns and am using solids more than in the past.

  10. I am a grunge-aholic! I much prefer it to a solid. Provides a texture and it seems like you can get away with it not being an exact match. I LOVE FQS,

  11. Hi, Pat! I’m entering the giveaway for the Fat Quarter Shop gift certificate. I love your videos and look forward to them everyday. My 4 kids know your face and voice! Congrats on 10 years, and cheers to 10+ more!

  12. I’m too new at this to have a favorite type of fabric. Is all an acceptable answer for now? I’ve already spent too much at FQS but now excited for giveaway potential to do more shopping! Thank you and Happy anniversary.

  13. I can’t say I have any one favorite I love it all! I’m the women in the shop saying wow look at that, oh wow look at this, etc. etc! lol I will say that if it has blue in it that would get my attention. Happy 10 year Pat🥳

  14. My fabric fabrics are Sherri and Chelsea, Camille Roskelley, and Lella Boutique. Of course I just love fabrics of all kinds. I love watching you each day.

  15. My all time favorite fabrics are batiks! I love how tight the thread weave is and how they do not ravel.
A gift Certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop would make my bank account smile. It would give it a little bit of a break!

  16. My favorite fabric finds are at Estate Sales. I shop for background fabrics to put in a quilt with Pat Sloan fabrics 🙂

  17. What a wonderful opportunity to win a gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop! Best of luck everyone!

  18. I wish there were a Fat Quarter Shop in Sweden with all the variety of fabrics. To win the 150 gift card, what a wonderful thing. I would spend it on a fat quarter bundle in “happy” colours.
Thank you for the You Tube videos, so inspiring.

  19. I would love to win the $150 gift card from the Fat Quarter Shop.
I would order the sew sampler box and a cone flower thread holder to begin with..
What a wonderful way to celebrate your 10 years. You make my weekdays so special ever morning.
Thank you Pat for being there for us.

  20. Pat, I always look forward to your new fabric lines because they are all so beautiful. I’m also a big fan of designers Cory Yoder and Lori Holt. They always have such cute fabrics. My health does not allow me to go to many fabric shops so much of my purchasing is from Fat Quarter Shop. My husband gets the mail and always says “you have another package from Kimberly.” I think he may think she is sending me gifts! 😀

  21. I love your Drawing Room collection. My favorite is the cream wide backing fabric, so beautiful. Fat Quarter Shop is my go to for all quilting and cross stitch needs.

  22. I do love your fabric lines! I have The Drawing Room fat quarter bundle and the Sleepover fat quarter bundle right now! Otherwise, I think I love them all! I have gone with Kansas Troubles and Kim Diehl fabric lines also. Thank you so much for the opportunities to win so many great prizes!

  23. Happy Birthday to Gregg! I had so many birthdays to celebrate this week. Glad to know Gregg is added to the list. (I think Gregg spells his name with two g’s. If not, so sorry.)

  24. I love Poppa Ellie! I first saw it in a Facebook post and fell in love! I found and purchased the pattern immediately. A few days later I found the gold jelly pop on Fat Quarter Shop; but to my surprise the silver jelly pop was on the flash sale. This quilt was definitely meant to be! The gold version is started; and the silver one will be close behind.
