  1. I would love to win one of your quilts, Pat. I give most of mine away and keep telling myself I need one for me. I think you are correct that most people don’t realize the work that goes into a quilt. I quilt because I love doing it.

  2. Re-watching some of your U Tubes. Don’t think I registered to win the Benadex layer cake give away of your beautiful Drawing Room fabrics. Would so like this layer cake.

  3. Oh, and my favorite summer activity is to watch the sunrise with a cup of tea and enjoy my garden. Congrats on 10 years!

  4. Hi Pat: I just love the Owl quilt! Anything with paisley looks good (I love that about your fabric lines), but as far as I’m concerned, it puts your owls over the top! I also love you Quilter’s Quilt. Applique is my jam. It brings me such comfort as I hand stitch (good creative therapy). Though I have done a lot of machine applique, hand applique is my favorite. Whomever wins your Quilter’s quilt will be lucky indeed. It’s perfection! Thanks for all your great content. I’m up at 4:00 (Pacific time zone) every morning to catch your videos and kick off my day.

  5. My favorite summertime activity is anything i can spend time with my grandkids while doing it. I like to garden and so do they.
I love your quilt and have the perfect place in my entry to hang it so the everyone entering my house can see and appreciate it.

  6. I absolutely love your summer quilt! My favorite summer activity is when my mom would come home from work and say to my brother, sister and I, “it’s too hot today. Go get your bathing suits on and meet me in the car. Quick, we don’t have much time.” We would run upstairs, get ready and meet her in the car. We’d ask where we were going knowing that she loved to surprise us, even though we knew. We lived in Erie, PA right near the lake. She would take us out to the beach, and as it started getting dark, we’d hop in the car and stop at a local corner store to buy popsicles on the way home! My mom loved the banana ones and I loved to share mine with her. She was a single parent and could only afford two popsicles that the four of us would share. She is no longer with us, but those memories are the sweetest! I still get banana popsicles and only eat half and save the other half for later. I feel like I’m still sharing them with her that way. Or sometimes my kids or grandkids will share with me, continuing the banana popsicle tradition. 🙂

  7. My favorite summer activity is laying in the pool on a raft reading a book. Not much quilting is accomplished. But, that quilt would look great in my house on the water.

  8. Love you quilt!! My favorite thing to do in summer is to sit in my swing and watch/listen to all the birds in my backyard.

  9. Oops I forgot to say my favorite summer activity 🫤
I live in a Hot climate. It’s not unusual to have 110 temperatures SEW… I Sew while enjoying my air conditioning. Swimming with the grandkids is another favorite activity

  10. Ok oops I forgot to say my favorite summer activity… I live in a very warm summer climate with an average of 110 degrees July-September Sew… I SEW and enjoy my air conditioning. Swimming with the grandkids is pretty popular too!
