One of my favorite quilts is a BOM that I have hanging in my sewing room. I love the prints and the blocks. It’s so fun. It’s asymmetrical. The only one I have made.
It seems my favorite quilt is always the last one I finished! đ I love learning new techniques and attempting new challenges. Thank you, Pat, for all you do for the quilting community! I have only recently discovered your YouTube channel, but as I recover from total knee replacement surgery, I am getting caught up on your previous videos!!
My favourite quilt is still a quilt I made more than 10 years ago. A scrappy quilt I made for me. It has the letter S blocks (for Sandy) made from many favourite fabrics.
My favorite quilt is the first one I ever did when I retired 7 yrs ago. I didn’t have a sewing machine and had to get one, relearn how to use one and then gather my shirts. I walked for the cure for years. 5K’s and a couple 3 day 60 mile walks. I designed the front of the quilt and put it together after looking up how to do a tee shirt quilt. Then I didn’t know what kind of batting to get and couldn’t find info on it so the batting was thick :). I used breast cancer ribbon fleece for the back. One of my squares/tee shirts on the front was one I got from my man and I wrote all the names of the people I represented in the walks that had had breast cancer. I love this quilt and it is displayed in my sewing room.
my favorite quilt I made is a baby quilt for my nephew baby girl. They use it to take photos for the each month old she is.
My favorite quilt that I made and quilted is a log cabin too. A curvy log cabin from a jelly roll and a white background. It stays on my couch all the time! Love your log cabin quilt too.
My favorite quilt would be my first quilt. My granddaughter was 3. I made hearts and appliquĂŠd them on.
She helped me sew it. Then at Christmas screamed itâs for me! She is 31 now and still has it. Itâs holding up really well
Congratulations Pat on 100,000 subscribers! My favourite quilt is a scrappy red and white in the milky way pattern that I hand quilted years ago. Nowadays I mostly do machine quilting.
My favorite quilt is my sonâs quilt. It took my years to finish it. My perseverance got me to finish it. I also love my husbands Asia quilt. It turned out very nice
I want to be entered in the quilt drawing. Thank you
I think my favorite quilt is one of the first ones I made. Five inch squares and a cream yardage. So it looks like checkers.
I really didnât like it at first and just finally got the top all sewn together and I still didnât like it. My daughter has a long arm and she said this would be the perfect one for me to practice on.
I had the best time. I channeled my early days as a granny, nana and honey to my grands. They all called me something different which I loved. Anyhow I just quilted flowers and hearts and words and just all the things I did with my grands on paper. Then after sewing the binding on and washing and drying, it came to life. And it lives in my living room on a chair. I occasionally turn it around to see different patterns I made. I mean I just about did everything. â¤ď¸
Love all your videos Pat and you do so much Iâm amazed. Thank you
Allo Pat, congratulation on your off weekends! Love watching your informative videos, and how you used wonderful patterns with a trendy fabric. Also sharing your process thoughts is great and inspirational. Thank you!
my favorite quilt came out of a magazine. It was called something lights. It looks like trapezoids. I used a dark grey with bright colors.
Pat, You deserve a break. I’ve watched and enjoyed all your videos for many years. Enjoy your garden. Stay cool.
Congratulations Pat on deciding to change your schedule to have more time to enjoy other things.
I watch your videos daily and have learned many techniques from you.
Enjoy your free time but thanks for continuing to provide such informative videos for us 5 days a week. Guess I’ll have to watch “reruns” of you on Saturday!
Good for you Pat, taking weekends back for yourself; although I am sure you will be ‘working’. You deserve to take some time back for yourself; I really don’t know how you can keep up; Enjoy learning from you and will continue, enjoy your weekends! Happy Sewing from Essex, Ontario.
Pat,
I love your videos and watch them first thing in the morning with my cup of tea. In fact my grandson, Leo who is 3,says “hey look it’s nana’s friend” when he see you on the TV. So my friend enjoy some time for yourself, you deserve it. Thank you for continuing to make videos for us.
Cindy from New York
