  1. Happy birthday Greg! I’m going to a sewcializer retreat at the end of the month in hopes of completing 5 ufos or wips. Maybe I’ll bring home some store haul.

My UFOs right now: completing one of the two patchwork flannel quilts that I purchased fabric for 20 years ago — began the process one week ago; sewing the tie sashing to a Christmas apron i made quite some time ago; finish applique for an otherwise completed outside door patchwork quilted block for Ukraine. Completing these projects will definitely open up much-needed space within me to move forward on a patchwork quilt that i’ve begun cutting fabric for.

  30. I’m working on finishing my Scrappy Dear Jane this month. I started the quilt and was going to make the whole quilt, but changed my mind and these blocks have been sitting languishing for years. I’m turning them into a small wall hanging. I’m in the process of piecing the back using up the 2 blocks and 6 triangles that didn’t go on the front. Also will put the binding on a quilt when I get it back from the spa. I picked up 2 community service quilt kits last night at my guild meeting and will get those done.
