  1. I have to stitch where the light is brightest- often it is on my patio outside during the day… until it gets too hot…learning lots watching your videos… especially interested in how you choose fabrics for each block…take care Yvette

  2. I love to do cross stitch with my magnifying light, old eyes, watching Pat Sloan on her videos. It’s not unusual but it’s my special place.

  3. I have been watching you for over a year. It has been fun and educational for me.
I don’t know if this sewing space is different. I took over the family room in our lower level. I also have a fireplace to keep me warm in the winter.

  4. I cross stitch in my dining room by a sunny window in the winter. I’ve been stitching since the 80’s and love it. xo

  5. My 4.5 x 2.5 rectangles sewn on the line came out short. This shortness will be in the seam when put together. I should have seen right inside the seam.

  6. Pat, Your Campfire Block is beautiful. I love the fabric and pattern. So cool to include the Girl Scout fabric — what a thoughtful gift to receive. We Girl Scouts had a number of week-end campouts. Wonderful quilt auctioning for Robb Elementary Memorial Fund.

  7. Pat
I really enjoy your U-tube posts every day and I am one of your newbies on summer camp! Love itπŸΎπŸ’•

  8. We camped a lot when we retired. We really enjoyed the campfires with the other campers. Sometimes we roasted marshmallows while we visited. Those are wonderful memories. So many of those campers have passed away but the memory of those days are precious.

  9. My summers always included camp. Either church camp or Campfire girls camp were things I enjoyed sooo much every year. Campfire camp had the added fun of each age level got to stay in a different style “cabin”. One year I stayed in a treehouse for the week! HS girls stayed in teepees. Campfires in the evenings with lots of fun songs, canoeing, archery, crafts, swimming, hiking…such great memories!

  10. In todays video I saw a 4th July quilt on your wall. Do you have the pattern? Would love it. Thanks

  11. Pat,
Have you ever thought about selling one of your patterns at a discount price for the month like others do? Vanessa @ Lella Boutique and Sheri and Chelsie put 1 pattern on sale for the month- usually charge $5. It would let everyone see your patterns that are for sale and if you still have the quilt you can show it. Just a money maker thought. Love your emails and sew alongs. Appreciate all you do!!!

  12. Hi Pat,
You gave a shoutout for Country Stitches making a donation to the Ukraine fund. Someone messaged you the location of the stores. The East Lansing store is my local quilt shop. I stopped in and spoke to Ann. I told her about the shoutout and also thanked her for her generous donation. I know small shops have really struggled the past two years and I felt it was important as a customer to acknowledge her donation and thank her personally.
