I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.
It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio
I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

I’m currently working five sew alongs and BOM’s. And no, I’m not keeping up. I had to take a week away in Hawaii with my 8 month old great grandson and after getting back on Arizona time, doing laundry and grocery shopping I’m finally trying to get going. Wish me luck. Oh, btw, I’m never caught up, in reality. Happy quilting!🤗
I currently am working on the Merry and Bright BOM and have a batik quilt ready to be quilted on the mid arm quilting machine. I also have several projects lined up and ready for the embroidery machine including 2 bats for Halloween towels, a name for a Christmas stocking, and a Halloween headband. 2 more quilts are waiting in the wings to finish piecing.
I’m working on Merry and Bright as well as a number of smaller projects for a fundraiser coming up in a few weeks.
I am currently making Veteran Quilts for Veterans in our little town. Also, hand quilting a LARGE old quilt for a friend!!
I am currently working on some samples for my Martha Pullen class. I have also started several table runners that need quilting, 3 baby quilts that need quilting, a Christmas quilt that needs quilting and a throw that needs boarders and quilting. Maybe if the weather cools of I can get to the quilting.
I am working on the Christmas Merry and Bright quilt project, a Boo to You quilt project, a block of the month project and taking a class for English Paper piecing at the local quilt shop.
I have a few other projects in my “holding area” waiting to be finished and one special quilt I made for my grandson who is graduating from Marine Boot Camp on the 13th of Oct. It is in the “loop” at the quilt shop waiting to be quilted. Hopefully, I will get it in time for the graduation so I can bind it and give it to him. Our family so excited to attend his Marine graduation and see him again.
Love retirement and being able to do and learn all about quilting and the tools that help you keep organized as you go.
I’m currently working on too many projects! LOL…….Among them are quilted passport wallets for sale, quilting a baby quilt (was a UFO quilt top), getting ready to quilt a top for a friend (commissioned), and making blocks for an international block swap that I’m in. Very soon to be on the plate – a quilt for a challenge for the Modern Quilt Guild and more wallets.
To be honest I started a quilt for my baby great-nephew about 8 months ago and then got side tracked and then since my sewing room is off the dining room it also becomes my catch all room when I need a quick place to put something out of the way so now I need to declutter before I can sew on the quilt again unfortunately.
I’m currently working on a storm at sea quilt. Just started quilting this year and I’m hooked!
I am currently working on a Christmas quilt. I bought the pattern and fabric last Christmas, and it has just set there all this time. It finally hit me, that if I didn’t get with it, it was not going to be done by this Christmas. I don’t know why I didn’t start early, but hopefully I’ll have it done for the holiday arrives.
I am making a pillow for my daughter’s 23rd birthday. I have had an extra block from a log cabin quilt I made when she was little, so I think it will be a nice pillow with an embroidery piece for the back.
Hi Pat from the UK. I’m currently working on a Union Jack foundation pieced quilt for my daughter who lives in Australia to remind her of her British roots!
A round the world quilt for a little girl that used to live by me who is now getting married! So sweet I love her still. Love is so sweet especially with God in the middle. Love my hobby. Thankful I am a survivor also, so I can continue making quilts.
Life has been crazy for the last couple of months. I have fabric pulled for a wall hanging.
I am working on a block of the month quilt and a quilt that I started for my son before he passed away.
I’m making a spaceship quilt (hand appliquéd) for my grandson. A penguin quilt for his daddy (my middle son). And an embroidered quilt for my sons mother in law.
I am currently taking a break with piecing tops and trying to get my finished tops quilted! I am renting the longarm at my local shop and hope to get one done on Monday. Tuesday I am sure I will be back tworking on my Prairie Flower quilt. The blocks are complete, just have to do the sashing and borders to complete the top.
I am working on Merry and Bright. I am cutting out blocks for a pine tree quilt. I am also going to cut strips for a log cabin quilt. I usually work on several projects at once.

Working on a Halloween wall hanging right now. 🙂
Just finished some embroidery work for a friend. Next project is a wall hanging for my quilting guild.
I just finished a pattern test and now am back working at my Crazy Colour Mystery Quilt from the Quilt Along 2017 from Bernina. The sewing/embroidery/quilting machine was a gift from hubby when I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, and on my birthday in August he gifted me all that I needed to make this quilt.
I love working at it, but things are going slow. But this quilt is great for getting to know my Brother better, and learn a lot on quilting.
In the test I just finished, I did my first FMQ with my Brother Innov-is 955 and I am so happy with it.
I am making the camping squares and making a lap rug with scraps. I have made and making shopping bags when I get the time as I work full time

I am currently working on another baby boy quilt. A little behind cause the baby has already entered the world. I’ve been a lit5le late with the baby quilts this year. Too many babies!!
I have just moved into a new rental property so I will be hemming up curtains and making new pillows and decor pieces, mostly because I am still trying to find all of my stuff and organize it so I have a system to work in my new surroundings.
I am currently working on my “Homespun” quilt from Vicki McCarty at The Calico Patch. I had other projects lined up, but when my kit came in the mail and I got my mitts on it, I had to get going on it. I’m at quilt assembly now. So excited to get to quilting it. I’m also keeping up my SS2 blocks and my Merry & Bright blocks. But that’s all I’m keeping up with. My laundry hampers are screaming for me to get them caught up!! Ha Ha
I never have just one project going! On this week’s list, I had two QAL blocks, two American Hero Quilts, a Halloween quilt, a crazy quilt project, a leader-ender project, a quiltlet to quilt and bind, the next step in a pattern testing, and Sweet Land of Liberty by Cheri Payne. I worked on all but the quilting and the QAL blocks, because I got sick for a couple of days.
It’s been fun to see your studio make-over and I enjoyed the video, too. Thank you for all three days of giveaway chances. There are some great things in each one.
I am currently working on a Star quilt. It’s a QAL with Melissa Corry from Happy Quilting called “Seeing Stars”.
This will sound very sad. I am just now finishing a 4th of July table mat. I will be ready next July 4.
I am currently making a pirate quilt for my grandson. I am still quite new to quilting, learning so much as I go along, thrilled to bits with how the pirate quilt is looking, I only have to put the final border on, then sandwich etc, so plenty of 5ime to get it finished for Christmas.
I’m currently sewing some memory bears out of my father’s clothes. They will mean a lot to my sisters. Then I hope to get back to quilting! Thanks for showing us your studio Pat. What a wonderful playground!
I am making a flannel appliqué wall hanging- made the pieces background yesterday and now have to fuse down the shapes and start stitching.
I just delivered 22 quilts to my quild for the Women’s Shelter. The ladies will need to finish the binding but only a few hours hand sewing. Now I am onto 3 baby quilts that I promised quite sometime ago.
The bigger question is what am I not sewing? LOL! I’ve got a couple of baby quilts in progress right now. I’ve got several pairs of pants that need to be hemmed, two shirts I’m altering and a kimono ready to cut out. I’ve also got all the stuff ready to make some new curtains for my guest room. So a lot of projects. I need more time in my sewing room!
I’m working on a Christmas quilt.

I am still working on my Winter Solstice quilt (almost done with the piecing) and I’m about to start quilting a baby quilt that I made for my nephew’s baby daughter (he went with me to a quilt shop and picked out the fabric and the pattern – it was great to have him be such a part of it).
