Organized Studio Space tour, DAY 3 of 3 giveaway!

I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.

It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio

I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

  1. I am hand quilting Midnight Floral Fantasy designed by Karen Kay Buckley and also hand piecing blocks for Jinny Beyer’s Craftsy BOM.

  2. Making some bags for a festival in October. Also longarming a quilt for our king bed. ALSO making a quilt with some fav fabric I finally cut into. (free spirit)

  3. I’m currently working on a quilt for me for my bed. It’s my turn . It’s almost finished and then off to be quilted! Yeah!

  4. As I said on day 1 I work on several projects at one time. So right now I am working on a reversible I Spy for my great nephew and some pillowcases for Christmas gifts and a winter row by row for a mini group I belong.

  5. I am currently working on a 50″X50″ Windermere kit, the Christmas Sew Along with Pat and a block of the month with my local quilt guild. Next on my list are cute little girl skirts that use jelly rolls for ruffles. I’d better get busy!

  6. I’m working on Summertime…only 2 more blocks to go and Merry and Bright. Then I need to catch up on my Kaffe Fassett Mystery Quilt. I think there is a pattern here…to many projects and not enough time.

  7. I have three projects going right now. My main focus is a queen size quilt for a good friend who recently lost her sister to cancer. Her sister loved to see pictures of whatever I was working on while she was dealing with her cancer. I think it gave her a small reprieve from her daily struggles. She was the same age as my sister, who is my best friend and quilting partner. So, in honor of the sister of my good friend, I am making my friend this quilt. Next I am working on a quilt for a benefit for a gal who is in a serious battle with cancer. Lastly I am making lap quilts for my husbands siblings, there are five of them. They will get them for Christmas. I have two completed, two waiting to be quilted and one that I just received the fabric for that I will cut out this week. I rarely ever have only one project going at a time. My sister has a Baby Lock longarm machine so that is a big plus for me!!

  8. SI just started cutting fabric for a new quilt. I only work on one at a time….unless I get distracted (which happens a lot)!

  9. I’m working on my sons birthday gift. I’m making a quilt out of some of his baseball uniform jerseys. It has brought back a lot of memories for me. I hope it does the same for him.

  10. I have just finished a rag blanket using the blue winter theme. I am making 6 of my co-workers pillow cases for Christmas. You know it is only 3 months away!!

  11. I am working on three extra large king size quilts that my husband has had to enlarge my quilting frame so they fit, plus I am finishing up your quilt along for nursery rhymes quilt [its basted and waiting quilting as I am not sure how I want to quilt it] then I am waiting for the last block for the let’s go camping and I am working on merry & bright. Plus two different “bee” quilts. Plus I have another couple of quilt alongs I am participating and on top of that I am also working on two ruler quilts by Westerlee rulers. As you can see I have a bit on the goo at present it keeps me busy.

  12. I am in a “shoe-box shuffle” group, and have fallen way behind. Working to finish my back-log of blocks. Also working on a couple of BOMs. I am not very good at finishing…

  13. Current projects are Merry & Bright and trying to play catch up on Let’s Go Camping. Also have some UFO’s that need some attention! Your sewing room reorganization was inspiring! I started mine Labor Day weekend and am in the home stretch now. Found your red tower at Container Store today & bought myself a white one. I’ve also added a couple of office assistants. It feels so good to get things in order!

  14. I’m working on a vestment for our new Pastor at our church. It’s 2.5” squares made out of green shades of fat quarters that were given by a family member. Sew much fun to make something special for a meaningful occasion.

  15. finished a quilt for my sister, had to piece the back, it is ready for quilting, I desparately need to reorganize my studio. We have put in shelves, book cases and used waterbed drawers stacked to make a cabinet with counter top to finish the top. most of my fat quarters are separated by color and labeled. need to come wth something else for the rest. Any suggestions?

  16. I am currently working on a T-shirt quilt and American Doll clothes. I have so many more quilt projects started that I would like to finish this winter.

  17. I m working on Edyta Sitar’s BOM Patches of Blue, Designer’s BOM Mystery, Merry and Bright, Christmas houses, Miss Rosie’s Come On-a My House, and Christmas Figs when the fabric gets here. Yeah I know……. too many!

  18. The projects I’m working on #1. A Batman quilt for my son-il, #2- #savethebeesbom #3 Christmas placemats bowl cozies. Multitasking!

  19. I’m currently working on a Christmas quilt/wall hanging. Hand applique is time consuming with these old eyes, so not sure if it will be ready in time to display this year, but if not, it will be by 2019 holidays 🙂

  20. frankinstein wall hanging from Patch Abilities. I have seven to make for october. I have been making skinny wall hangings for each of my children every month this year. And of course working on a couple of quilts.

  21. I’m working on Down the Rabbit Hole. It is a year long BOM and I’m on the middle of this Medallion quilt. I also just finished a Piece of Cake quilt.

  22. My daughter just had a baby boy 12 days ago, so currently you know what I’m doing–sewing, sewing, quilting, quilting, embroidery, embroidery. Is there anything more satisfying than making things for a new grandchild?? I don’t think so….

  23. I am going to do two craft shows this fall, first ones in 15years. Trying to come up with new ideas. I am making a few quilted duffle bags which are really fun, plus some turtles for children to like, also a few baby quilts. Never enough time to get it all done! So much better than sitting around complaining that I have nothing to do!!!

  25. I’m currently working on Halloween mini quilts for my granddaughter to decorate her dorm room at Cal State Santa Barbara!
