My husband always fusses when I put green stuff in our family’s food, but as a young man, my son orders the pizza with basil, Haha,
I love your videos, but don’t mind at all if you skip a few to take care of yourself. I love to quilt along with you. I may do this one!
What a pretty pattern. Thank you.
Baking fails? Know I’ve had them just can’t think of one at the moment.
Thanks for all you do & share with us.
Blessings to you & Gregg.
Hi Pat, I have been looking at the red and white quilt in the background during your shows. Can you tell me what quilt or block pattern that is and possibly how to find it? Thank you for all the time and information you put into shows, much appreciated. Oh, I ordered a mini oliso through you and it is waiting under my Christmas tree. Very excited! Bless you!
Hi Pat, I wear scarves all the time. I’ve made some and bought a bunch. I tend to wear solid color tops (a lot of black and gray) so I rely on scarves for color, texture and variety. An added bonus is they help keep me warm! On the topic of Hygge, I just read a book on the topic and it served as a good reminder to appreciate the little things in life, take joy in family and friends, see the beauty in simple things, good food, the loveliness of nature.
My baking fail was the first time I made 7 layer bars. It was about 50 years ago when I was first married and didn’t realize when the recipe said sweetened condensed milk I couldn’t use regular canned milk. When I baked the pan of bar mixture it was runny so I kept putting it back in the oven. After doing that several times I finally read the recipe and saw my mistake. I learned from that mistake. You can’t substitute canned milk for sweetened condensed milk.

Love the looks of this star. Thank you so much for the pattern.
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I really enjoy when you “keep it real” with us, such as the baking fail, the dates with Jack, etc., etc. It makes you even more like a friend and one of us. The pattern is a beauty and would really be pretty in a lot of Seasonal color combos. Your Autumn version is really pretty!
I love this block and I also love your quilting.
The blazing star pattern is beautiful. I love your version with orange and the background chosen. Seems a perfect fit. As far as a baking fail goes, I have tried to make butter tarts both with home made crust or store bought, but have never managed to get them to turn out. Usually seems the pastry doesn’t bake properly. Probably some thing I am doing wrong.
it’s such a pretty block. I love your choice of fabrics!
