I agree Deborah, but it really makes me look forward to Wednesdays!
I love this story! My mamaw and papaw had a grove of oak trees on their farm that the Mistletoe grew in. The trees were too tall to climb, so papaw would take his 12 gauge (shotgun) and shot the Mistletoe down for us. A simple gesture, but such treasured memories as they’re both in heaven now and we sold this farm just this year. Thank you for bringing this memory back to me!
Boo Hoo! You post patterns on Wednesday and by that evening I have the block finished! Sure is a long time in between Wednesdays!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!!!
Thank you for the response. I will keep trying . . .
what a wonderful tradition Lois!! Now I want to see it growing in the trees!
Vickie they are not 4 x 4 HST … check the pattern again for what to do
I was wondering how do the 4 4×4 triangles in this block come out to make 8 squares?
I live in Alabama and mistletoe grows on the trees in my yard. for years I sent my brothers family a Christmas package with the mistletoe ready to hang up with a bright red bow. sadly both my brothers and wives have passed so I continue to hang it in the archway from my living room to my dining room. still has a bright red bow decorating it, my great grandchildren now climb the tree to fetch it for me the second week of December when the tree goes up for twelfth night.
keep sewing Charisse, you can do it!
That was left over from last week, i deleted it
I love that series!
thank you!
Donna you can get my book at http://shrsl.com/iq3o I wrote the book so that it is all in one spot.
Carol it is all EXACTLY the same as every other one. Nothing changed. It’s on your end. So start trouble shooting all the software you use.. change browsers, change devices, download then print, look at your pdf reader, reload it, look at your print driver.. if all else fails contact your local tech support.
I have finally cut out blocks 1 thru 9. If all goes well, I will start sewing on them today. This is for my youngest grandson. Somehow his hasn’t been done yet. Pray for me that I will get it finished in time for this Christmas. 😉
HEY, PAT…I forgot to mention that I also received my Primitive Quilts and Projects with Part for of yet another of your great designs…I have opened the magazine yet, but I already know I am going to love it! Still getting my act together….lol..
THANKS BUNCHES, PAT..I have yet to start…but I really love this sew along…I have sew much going on right now and most of that involves crocheting for grand kids!! believe me, I want to be working on this! lol.
Your How to Make Triangles book is still out of stock at Amazon. Do you have a tutorial for the triangles?
Thank you!
PS. I have totally enjoyed this sew along. It has been so much fun and so far I have been able to master the blocks and get them done. I haven’t started putting my blocks together yet. Was thinking about giving this as a gift but now I am wanting it myself. Don’t know if I can part with it. 🙂
Thanks for the fun and memories too!
Did you change your pdf format for posting the patterns? I am having a terrible time getting them to print properly. If I print @ 100%, I get a giant picture with only about half of the information printing, If I reduce it, I get a smaller picture with only about half of the information printing. At first I thought it was my printers or my computer, but other things that I try to print come out just fine. What changed???? Help!!!
