Block #2 of my easy peasy Merry & Bright Christmas Memories Sew Along!

‘Hang a Wreath’ is my Block #2!
In each pattern I have a memory or story of my own. When You share your block at my Facebook group, or when you leave me a comment after posting your block, share YOUR memory with me!
BONUS CHALLENGE

I tossed this idea out to my Facebook group HERE … what about a WEE Little challenge?
The BONUS Challenge:
- Make my BONUS all house quilt by doing a House block each week, by the end you have a second quilt!
- FIRST – Kick start yourself by making several Block #1 Houses to get ahead. ALL my Merry & Bright blocks are easy so you have plenty of time each week to make a house block .. but make a few NOW incase you can’t get to it one week.
- THEN- Each week, make an ADDITIONAL House block
- By the end of Merry & Bright you will have a SECOND BONUS house quilt!
Game on my friends.. I’ve been cutting pieces so I can just sit & sew houses when i have a few minutes.

thank you Pat!
if you resize them prior to loading they should be correct Susan, thank you for sewing with me!
Love this block. It took me two times to get the words going the right way.
I can’t figure out why my photos end up sideways. Any suggestions? Please.
Note – I have been making pocketbooks lately. Great for left over fabric.
I like it so much. 1. Triangle shape with top cut off adding a strap. Inside fabric – pockets for glasses, lipstick, tissues, checkbook! Trims, buttons,
Photos, jewelry etc. No pattern needed just draw a shape. Square, rectangle,
Stop sign shape, fold over top, etc. Use iron on between fabric outside and inside. Use plastic cut for bottom between fabric. Kids love them as well as adults. I embroidery so I made some for Sunday School with a verse and picture of shepherd and sheep. I not a great seeing person. Draw a simple pattern and go! Sew and turn inside out.add strap – fabric, chain, jewelry handle. Fabric is very colorful. Birds, verses, shapes, dogs, cats, beach etc.
You are amazing Pat. Thank you for all your sew alongs. You get so much accomplished! You go girl.
