  1. I’ve never had German cookies and would love to try some. I always enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for all you do for the sewing community!

  2. I am grateful for family, friends, my quilting community and my honey. Thank you for making my mornings start with a chuckle. You are infectious. I’ve been watching since the first grannies kitchen. Happy Thanksgiving!

  3. I’m grateful for my Lord and Savior. HE has bestowed so many blessings on me can’t count high enough. Its because of HIM, that I have the family and friends in my life. It’s because of HIM that I’m able to do the things I love to do and help others in the process. Without HIM, I wouldn’t be. Wishing you all God’s blessing not just on the holiday but everyday. Lori

  4. I am most grateful for my family, my husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and our good health.

  5. I am most grateful for Jesus and my family all of whom so enrich my life and encourage me through life’s ups and downs.
Grateful for so many other things like the fun and challenge of quilting and beautiful fabric!

  6. I’m grateful for my three adult kids. They’ve been very supportive both mentally and physically especially since my husband, their dad, passed unexpectedly. A couple years ago I had a small flood that required all the flooring be replaced. They got right to work and pulled out all the carpeting, handled the insurance claim and repainted the bedrooms and living room plus trim. Best part was my one son totally redid my sewing room with two custom cutting tables, storage below, and shelving in the double closet! When I mentioned I’d like a new kitchen counter they decided I needed an entire new kitchen. They did the demolition, replacing new walls, and painting. But most importantly they are kind and willing to help anyone in need. They have the ability to make me smile even on a bad day😊

  7. I am most grateful for my family and the wonderful opportunities that God has given me sharing my talents with others. I am also grateful for all my quilting friends.

  8. I am most grateful for my wonderful husband. He supports my crazy/sometime expensive quilting hobby and helps contribute his opinion and help whenever asked. He is the greatest.

  9. Hi Pat! I’m so very thankful for: God, Spouse, Family, and Friends. My love of sewing has led to quilting, and inspired by my quilting family and talented teachers like you, Pat. Thank you for all you have taught me!

  10. We’re German and these are cookies I remember when we lived in Wisconsin. Such a wonderful
Memory of my mom Marlys and grandma Tillie!

  11. Right now I am most grateful for steady income, a reliable job and a totally self sufficient lifestyle. It wasn’t always so, being able to support myself even though I’m married is a huge source of achievement because it allows me to give even further support to my children and grandchildren. I’m so happy that I can continue to give to them and others less fortunate to have consistency.

  12. I am grateful that recent tests showed no cancerous cells just a calcification that needs to be removed. I’m grateful that my health is not in serious danger so I can continye to help keep my disabled husband at home.

  13. I am most grateful for the grace and mercy the Lord shows me each day. Ever faithful in bringing me through the valleys of fear and doubt.

  14. I am grateful for the anticipation of all my four children will come from other cities and 1 from out of state and we will all be together for this Thanksgiving. The cookies would be fun to have to share! Thanks Pat!

  15. At this time of year, I am particularly grateful for my family and friends who have given me love and support during a very difficult year.

  16. I am “most grateful” right now for good health for myself and my son!
I work out at the health club at the !oral hospital. I swim in the warm water therapy pool, sit in the hot-tub, take a shower, eat lunch there, watch a Pat Sloan video and then I go home and sew. What a wonderful day it is when I do these things. And then a glass of red wine!

  17. I am grateful for our good health and current successes, and for having a great partner that I can navigate life with and keeps me sane with our kids

  18. I am most grateful for my family, friends, good health, and quilting! I especially grateful for the daily videos and everyone at the Sloan Zone!

  19. I am grateful for family and friends. I’m so blessed with many wonderful people in both of these categories. Thank you.

  20. The cookie tin looks so festive. And I bet they taste just as good, too. They would be delightful at our Thanksgiving table. I am thankful that we did not receive any storm damage during the Bomb Cyclone that hit our area the other night. (the Seattle area). Some cities are still without power, and ours was only out for 9 hours.
