Let’s celebrate a wonderful summer memory using one of our strongest senses…

The sense of ‘Smell’. Block #18 is ‘Smells of Summer’.
I wasn’t sure how to title it… so this is what I ended up with. But you know what I mean.. you’ll all of a sudden smell something that brings back a memory. I wrote about a few of mine in the pattern

I’d really like to make a set of these to play around. Here they are all going one way.
This would be awesome for busting some scraps to use for the squares.. maybe a lot of different light background pieces.
Someone sew that up for me to see!

Hi Pat,
I can’t believe we only have two more blocks. I have enjoyed this quilt along very much. I have followed your fabrics on this one and was wondering if you have decided what fabric you will use for the backing?
Thanks
Susan
For me my favorite summertime smell is freshly cut grass. 🙂
Hi Pat,
Are you still considering a Pineapple quilt sew along? I am ready to go!
Thanks,
Mary
Oh what a fun block! I can’t believe we only have two more blocks to do…well I have a few more than that to do! Hopefully I’ll get caught up by next Wednesday!!!
I remember the rain, sometimes right before and definitely after. It has such a clean smell. And of course fresh cut grass! I usually have a sneezing fit just after a good sniff, but it’s worth it!
