This might not be the month to have this topic.. but here it goes …. 
Block #10 is ‘Rain Drops’ .. but the friendly summer kind, not the torrential April kind of raindrops. I have a niece that has grown up in southern California and she loves rain. I always smile when she posts about enjoying a rain shower.
Have you ever had a Summer Rain adventure?
I’m totally excited about how this block looks in repeat! You could twist & turn them, shade them different ways and the best part is you could use up a LOT of random leftover pieces and bigger scraps to bust some serious fabric here.
Who is going to sew one up for me to see?

So I didn’t sew the rows together. Not because I’m not brave, but because I’m on a tight deadline for a book and really must stay focused on that.

Sweet! I love this block, especially with the 2nd quilt design you have for it. I could live without rain right now… need some warm spring sunshine!
I love warm rain! When I was in Monterey, CA with my 2-yr-old son many years ago, I took him to the beach at night in Jan while it was raining. We had fun climbing on the rocks until the tide started coming up. It was warm and a great time!
