I loved your Bird Song line of fabrics. I watched your videos as you made the 2 quilts, the one with the panel was my favorite. Unfortunately I dithered too long about buying the fabric as I was in the middle of another quilt. I try not to get too many projects in the queue. I don’t have favorite designers I go by what I am making. There are too many cute fabrics to choose from some days. Congratulations on ten years Pat Sloan! I have learned so much from watching your videos.

Good evening, I am a fan of the Fat Quarter Shop as well. To be honest I don’t focus on a designer when choosing fabric. My favorite fabrics to use are fat quarter and fat eighth bundles. The hardest part about creating a new quilt for me is picking a great color combination. Bundles do that work for me. I look for a bundle of colors that speaks to me. I use anything from bright primary colors to beachy themes. Congrats to you Pat for ten great years and many more to come. Thank you both for a generous gift raffle. Pam in Maine

My favorite precuts are charm packs. However, I would love to win Pat’s layer cake and give it a try to make a Perfect 10 quilt. I already have the book and the ruler. All I need is the right fabric!
Occasionally I buy a collection, but usually I buy a fabric that grabs my attention, and then look for fabrics that complement it. FQS is one of the first places I look.

In 2023 I participated in my State’s first shop hop (Ohio). Looking through all my purchases I realized what I have suspected all along…I LOVE fabric!! Not only to work with, but to just admire. My favorite type I seem drawn towards is Halloween fabrics. I am also a big fan of Lori Holtz’ retro looking fabric. Using her fabric connects me to my Mom and Grandma.
