If I could only choose one type of favorite fabric it would probably be 1930’s reproductions. Of course I also love novelties, red and white, batiks and more.

I love all fabric! Not all are created equal though. I have not ordered FQS fabric yet. Everyone seems to love their fabrics. Would love to try them out. I seem to have entered my romantic ‘blue period”, so your Drawing Room fabric was a must have, as I am inspired to make the My Blue Heaven quilt. I went to FQS shop to purchase each increment of the fabric. Your 108 backings in this line are so beautiful, Pat. They will be a staple in my stash for years to come. And, I would use the FQS gift certificate to purchase more Drawing Room 108 yardage! My second favorites are Minick & Simpson Isabella for summer and Kim Diehl’s Quiet Grace for autumn.

I have bought a few layer cakes lately and have really enjoyed working with them. I like buying fat quarter bundles too. It really depends on what project I’m starting on that determines what I buy.
I love batik fabrics, especially tropical designs!
I like to use cotton fabric bh all the designers. The fabric is so beautiful and FQS has it all.

The Fat Quarter Shop has some most awesome employees as well as fabric selections. It is hard for me to select any particular fabric line or designer! Lori Holt has wonderful line as well as Pat Sloan!

My favorite type of fabric is good quality cotton in my favorite colors: turquoise, magenta, and purple. I will buy any style whether it is civil war/colonial prints to batiks to whatever strikes my fancy.
Of course Pat’s fabrics are the best along with all of her help with quilts. I especially enjoy her segments on how she chooses color options for quilt blocks. All of her fabrics go together so well.
