Congratulations on your anniversary. I love the free patterns from Fat Quarter Shop. I have purchased a few things from them and the service is exceptional. Unfortunately the difference in the US and Canadian dollar makes them a infrequent purchase
Fabric, fabric, fabric! I don’t have a favorite line. I love them all! For me it’s color and pattern content that draws me. , both you and the Fat Quarter Shop do so much to help us out. You both give of yourselves and that makes all of us better people and quilters because of the awesome things you do. Thank you to both of you for spiriting us on.
How to choose a favorite fabric, when there are so many beautiful fabrics! Love your birdsong fabric! Also love all the grunge fabrics that work so well with lots of things. I have recently b3ecome obsessed with collecting Tilda fabrics, but haven’t made anything with it yet! Fat Quarter Shop has great fabric!!!

I literally was just looking at the wide back fabrics from your line. Since I’m relatively new to piecing quilts, I’ve bought a lot of holiday fabric for quilts. I guess I can say that I like sewing quilts during the holidays I.e. Valentine, July 4th, Halloween etc.

I live an hour away from a quilt shop. I like to order from the fat quarter shop; the fabric is of good quality and the service is great.I like to sew with 30’s fabrics and Lori Holt fabrics.

My favorite fabric is always the next line that comes out ha ha! So many great designers making fabric with beautiful color palettes!
I absolutely LOVE the FQS!! So many things to peruse and fabrics to drool over. Yes, Pat, I love your fabrics :-). I would have to say my other choice would be Tula Pink’s fabrics or Jason Yneter. Both have such interesting designs.
Sorry Pat, my favorite fabric is Lori Holt and I usually order from Fat Quarter Shop.
My favorite fabrics are the darker fabrics such as Kansas Troubles, Kim Diehl…..etc. I just find myself gravitating towards those colors. I purchase fabrics/books from the FQS and have always been pleased with their service. A wonderful store.

FQS is the best…i love their selection and they have the best fast delivery, especially when I’m needing a match to finish a quilt…love their Flash sales and monthly specials!
My favorite fabrics are just abiotic anything from mods specifically Sherry and Chelsea and Cody Yoder. I recently just finished the barn star quilt sampler with these fabrics designers.

My favorite type of fabric to buy is Christmas fabric. Sometimes I think I am obsessed with it.
I love the different ideas. I like the idea of using a pattern to make a table runner. That is my next project is to make door hangings for each season and table runners.

I love the way that the Fat Quarter Shop and you come up with patterns that are free to help with the scraps or help make it to buy materials, Yours of course. I love both yours (Pat Sloan) and Lori Holt but with being in the UK it is difficult to get them over here especially when they come out in the US. If I won the gift certificate I would splash out on those newer fabrics and maybe the sew sampler box for a few months, it would also make the postage more affordable. x

To be honest I am eclectic in my fabric choices; my most recent purchase was some FQs from the Moda’s Collection for a Cause (my dearest Aunt and mother in law each lived with Parkinson’s disease before their passing; profits going to this charity honours my loved ones and enables me to sew something in their memory)
If I was gifted the FQS certificate, I would purchase one of your fabric lines and pattern to equip myself to join in a sew along with you on one of your quilts this year.

Wow, I love the FQS!!! $150.00 gift card from the FQS is fantastic! My favorite type of fabric to order are fat quarters, I love being able to get all or most of the prints from the line and there are so many fat quarter friendly patterns. BUT HONESTLY… ALL FABRICS are my favorite to order – I love colors and neutrals.
FQS is the only US source that I have ever ordered from. My purchases arrive faster than some bought in Canada!
