My favorite fabrics to purchase are collections with interesting colors (example: Primrose Hill by Melanie Collette for Riley Blake Designs) and/or a variety of patterns and textures (example: Decorum by Basic Grey for Moda) and/or luscious florals and paisleys (example: your High Tea!). I used to focus strictly on 1930s reproductions, but there don’t seem to be as many of those available now. I’m enjoying exploring other themes and creating with them as well. I feel like it’s expanding my skills.

I like using different fabric lines! The Fat Quarter Shop has a great selection and good delivery times. Of course your Sleepover is my current favorite Pat, but I’ve had my eye on some Kansas Troubles prints for my next quilt!
FQS has a lot of great fabrics and notions and books. I have had to limit my shopping and spending because I don’t get much Social Security and my medicare supplement was taking about 75% of my check. Would love to get the gift certificate so I could get some books I have been wanting and also some notions. I also would like to get their monthly box and see what is in it. When I see your reveal I always think I could use that and love the patterns they have to go with the fabric that is in the box. I am going to be slowing down for a short since I am having carpel tunnel surgery the first week in February but I can still dream.

I can’t say I favor one fabric designer over another. There are a few I am more drawn to than others such as yours, Lori Holt, Riley Blake, Henry Glass, Moda, Kansas Trouble Quilters to name a few. Different fabrics for different projects. I have a Kaffe Fassett fat quarter bundle that has been in my stash for longer than I can remember. Beautiful fabric but, for me, hard to fit into a quilt. Although, thanks to Kendall, I may finally have a pattern I am willing to cut into the fabric to make. Love the FQS and the links you provide to quickly find fabrics you use that catch my eye. Of course I love you fabrics! Other favorites are Edyta Sitar, Tilda and Lori Holt. I have purchased a curated FQ Bundle from the Fat Quarter Shop, and it is still one of my favorite quilts. So nice to get a unique bundle from pulls of different fabric lines.
I love using prints that read as solids, but are not solids. Love mixing prints!
Whatever 100% cotton quilting fabric that completes my ‘vision’ for the quilt I am buying for. The fun, bright stuff that I just have to have is typically one of the designers for Riley Blake.

Pat your fabric is all awesome. I loved doing the Festivals and Fireworks QAL in your Porch Swing line. I do also find myself drawn to vintage looks like Lori Holt or ocean vibes like Janet Clare. I spend a LOT with Fat Quarter Shop and would LOVE to spend more!

Love the variation of the two quilt patterns- it changes the look and feel of the quilt.
I love quilting fabrics from jelly roll, to charm packs, to layer cakes. There are so many beautiful fabrics out there and fantastic shops. I find when I am browsing or shopping I am drawn to reds: bright, civil war, or summer red. Can’t go wrong with that!

I love colorful fabric! The blending of a colorful fabric with a beautiful neutral just ends up being a lovely quilt. I’m not sure that I am able to pick one favorite designer of fabrics but I could definitely make a list of my top 5. Beautifully true colors in any fabric makes my heart sing.
