I love Pat Sloan’s the Drawing Room fabric line, both the blue and brown colorways. I’m also a Tula Pink fan but find I have difficulty choosing a suitable pattern for her lines. Drawing room is very versatile. You can never go wrong with Lori Holt fabrics also. I love watching FQS videos for both cross stitch and quilts, and of course love to shop there!

Oh man I have a wish list for FQS. Six years ago I started teaching a young mother of 8 how to quilt and how to run an HQ16. She has taken off. She now sews up quilt samples for a quilt shop in her town and long arms professionally with a computerized HQ 24″ throat Forte. I am so proud of her.
Long story short, she introduced me to the world of FQS last year on YouTube. I am a big fan of Kimberly now. I watch her every Friday and in between. I have quilted 48 years now but I still learn new stuff from Kimberly.
I started watching Pat a couple years ago. She still remains my favorite. I wish I had known about all these YouTube quilting ladies when the Pandemic started. But my young mother introduced me to YouTube. The Old teach the Young and the Young teach the Old. I would love to win this gift certificate. I could put it to use on patterns and notions.

My favourite fabric line to buy is Pat’s Sleepover fabric. Pat’s fabric designs and colours always attract me. I also love the Fat Quarter Shop for their great service.
I do love your fabrics I especially love the paisleys that show up in some of them. I tend to buy fabrics that catch my eye. The fabric that I usually get a piece of if I see it is fabric with bicycles on it.
Favorite? How can I pick one? It’s really all about what it’s put together with. Well, if I had to pick it would be a floral with a paisley background.
Hmm, my favorite fabric…there are too many to choose from. I buy whatever I’m in the mood for (civil war reproductions, Lori Holt, baby fabrics for charity quilts), but my latest favorite is 50’s retro fabrics. I love it!
