I love the name Office Assistant. The feature where is can lay flat and vacuum under furniture is fantastic.

  1. Oh boy, it seems to have so much power. Today I was trying to vacumn up after cutting minky……fuzzies all over my table and floor. My vacumn was not effective and just scattered the pieces all around.

  2. I like that it is cordless and will stand out of the way and wouldn’t take up too much room in my sewing area. Mine is standing in the middle of my sewing room right now, I have to get it put away.

  3. I really like that it goes all the way flat to get under furniture!! The stand with the tools is pretty cool too! And no cord!!! Would love it!

  4. I have been wanting a cordless vacuum for quite awhile. I was all set to get myself one when an opportunity to go on a tour of Europe this summer came up. I chose Europe. I had all but given up on ever going there. Your video was very interesting. I will be considering one in the future. I love the fact you can take out the roller bar to get all the threads out. That is a constant problem in the sewing studio.

  5. I could use another vacuum for down stairs for where I do my Free motion quilting and laying out my quilts. Always have fabric bunnies on the floor.

  6. The features I like best on the Riccar are that it is cordless and the easy to clean head, not to mention the lights on the head.

  7. Thanks for the give away. It looks like a wonderful vacuum. It would be very rewarding to win. I remember the glass that you have a red one of. We did not use those growing up. Maybe jelly glasses I don’t remember. I love block Wednesday sew along.

  8. I like that the Riccar is made in the USA! My favorite feature is that it is cordless. No more dragging around the vacuum. There are many features that I like, the removable roller is great, the lights seem to be very bright and it lays flat to clean under beds. I didn’t see anything that there wasn’t to like. Thank you for the opportunity to win this!

  9. I loved the removable brush feature. No more sitting on the floor and using my seam ripper to get the threads and hair wrapped around off the brush. Brilliant!

  10. I live that you can easily remove the roller to clean whatever gets wrapped around it. Thanks for the chance to win!

  11. I have many allergies and the hepa filter would help. I also was intrigued with the different levels of power when in use. Looks like a terrific vacuum and I’d love to win.

  12. This vacuum is a great addition to your studio! My favorite part is how everything has a place on the stand!

  13. What a brilliant idea to have a removable roller to remove all thread and strings picked up by this vacuum. Being made by baby lock is a plus. If it works as well as my baby lock it is definitely a winner!

  14. Above all else, the fact that it is cordless is a major plus! I have electrical cords all over the place in my sewing room. Having a nifty vacuum with one less cord to deal with would be awesome.

  15. Wow, what a great looking vacuum cleaner. My husband and I have been looking at new ones and can’t agree on which type to get. This Riccar looks like it’s easy to change parts and love that the roller comes out to clean it…and I don’t live far from St Louis! LOL :-)) Love your videos Pat.

  16. Being able to remove the brush bar is definitely my favorite feature. With all the threads that get wound around the brush when cleaning my sewing room, making it easy to remove them is a huge plus. I also like the free standing smaller footprint compared to my canister vacuum.

  17. I liked the fact that it has a HEPA filter! Also that you can clean the roller feet so easily being a quilter it’s always an issue to get the threads out of that area. I would love to have a dedicated vacuum for my sewing room . Thanks for the chance to win

  18. The convenience of NO TOOLS NEEDED to access the roller for cleaning!
The “lightweight” aspect sounds heavenly for my back.
Removeable handle sounds like it would be a perfect vacuum for stair cleaning!
I need a new assistant besides Jack.

  19. I like that it’s lightweight and has 2 Hepa filters. I also like that it has a charging base so it will always be ready to work! Thanks Pat and Riccar Vacuum Cleaner Co! Now all I need is a handsome man to run it for me! LOL

  20. I love how easy it is to clean the roller on the vacuum. I need this for my sewing room. Thanks for sharing.

  21. I need that vacuum. One white lab that does record setting shedding. Life in the country. 4 grandchildren. Quilter. Enough said!!

  22. Hi, I love all the attachments attached to the stand, no searching for where they went last time you used it! Thanks.

  23. I tried posting this morning but don’t think it went through So I’m posting again.
The best thing I like about this Riccar vacuum is that it is American made. I like to support American made products and the American people. This vacuum has great features, but the best one is being American made.

  24. The favorite part of the vacuum shown today was the removal of the roller for easy cleaning, plus it doesn’t look like it has so many areas to catch people hair, cat hair and of course thread! thanks for sharing.

  25. My favorite feature on the vacuum that you showed is how the roller pops out to be cleaned so we can get all the threads (and my longish hairs) off!

  26. Wow! I love everything about this Riccar! It stands up on the base, easy to clean rollers, cordless and lightweight! It sure beats the lint roller I use to “vacume” the threads on my carpet!

  27. Hi Pat! I liked how you can take the roller off the Riccar vacuum and get all those pesky threads off of it. Thanks for the chance to win! Being from the suburbs of St. Louis, I had to look where the Riccar museum is located and found it in Fenton! Very cool!

  28. What a neat idea, I like the dust sensor and how it will adjust with whatever it encounters. Thanks for the opportunity!

  29. Would love a new vacuum. My Shark is on its last legs. One of the wheels is wobbling and gets stuck. Want to do Grandma’s kitchen but haven’t found a fabric I love. Love your Wednesday QAL, Pat.❤️❤️❤️

  30. The Riccar vacuum design is amazing, but I especially love how it stores upright and doesn’t take a lot of space. That roller cleaning feature is super as well. I need this in my sewing room!
