  1. I am enjoying this so much! It Is so satisfying to be Able to complete a block in less than an hour and feel that sense of accomplishment! I also love how you’ve included a whole quilt diagram with the featured block. There are several Blocks I would like to make as full-sized quilts. Thank you for all you’ve done to make this possible.

  2. Lemonade was usually our go to drink for picnics growing up, especially if we went to the beach. Now my husband and I are fans of “Chinotto”, a Pellegrino soda of Italian bitter Orange. Sometimes it’s really tough to find in America, but easier in Canada. And yes, I’m a “soda” word person. I rarely drink sodas, but that’s what I call them!! We’re more the wine/beer/cocktail people at our house… especially during Covid!😉 My cousins from NJ referred to them as Pop! Is it a West Coast/ East coast thing?

  3. This is my first QAL, will there be 12 blocks at the end? When the layout was given today i was wondering if we are done after 8 blocks. Additionally, if it ends September 9th. That is only 10 blocks.
Can someone clarify this for me. I have really enjoyed this process. Thank you!

  4. Lemonade was and still is a big hit on picnics. Of now if there are no kiddies around, wine is always good 😉

  5. I love you Pat. I’ve been looking forward to your videos to distract me from the world as it is today. I’m so happy you are recovering from your fall. Stay safe and heal fast.

  6. Today’s supply list and layout is different from the original. The original dimensons were 61″ x 78″. today’s is 52″ X 66″. i have not started the quilt blocks yet but have been saving for when I have the time. Maybe I missed something.

  7. When we had big family picnics there was always a big container of homemade punch and another with lemonade or ice tea. Each of these squares have brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you so much Pat for this walk down memory lane. You’re a keeper.
