I don’t have anything in particular for fall. Mostly it’s the fall colors like orange and brown and yellow and gold and red. Pumpkins are fun though

I enjoyed your show today. I don’t need any more big quilts and don’t have room to store any, but I have a great granddaughter who just got a new dachshund puppy and I was think one short row of this quilt would make a nice pillow for Christmas.
My favorite thing to decorate with in the fall are pumpkins sitting on straw.

I have never done a quilt along before, but I decided this is the perfect pattern for my Goddaughter, who loves her little dachsie. Shh. Don’t tell her I’m making it for her!

My favorite to decorate for fall in New England is sunflowers and baskets of apples !!! Making apple pies and roasting sunflower seeds is a great tradition. !
Here in Australia, Fall is known as Autumn and occurs in March/April/May. It’s the time of year where the days are getting shorter and colder so I love to light the fire and cuddle up on the couch with a quilt and get cozy.
Currently in Australia we are at the beginning of Spring! It’s a beautiful time of the year to open up the house and give it a good Spring clean. Living in sub-tropical Queensland, I like to ‘decorate’ the air with the fresh smells of the warm ocean breeze and the sounds of the birds/wildlife singing and trying to find a mate for the season. It’s also the time of year where I change the bed quilts from the warmer, heavier ones to the lighter, summer weight quilts and make new ones as soon as I get the chance!
You are the reason I get out of bed in the morning. You are so enabling. You have made want to get back sewing all the projects that I have had sitting around. I also love your opening segment. I always wonder what the next day will bring.

My fall items to decorate with are fall flowers, but last fall my daughter made some super cute big yarn pumpkins in different colors for gifts and she gave me several. I love them and I guess it’s time to pull them out now. Soooo Cute!!!

Good morning friends, I love to decorate with pumpkins. I have real and foam. I take the foam jack-o-lanterns and face them to the house until October 1. I then turn them around and light them. There is one for every window in the house. I have a 2 foot tall one also
