I like to decorate with pumpkins. I am excited to use the the new haunted house door decoration for Halloween!
I like to decorate with soft, subtle tans and browns with green accents. Even my pumpkins are a country-worn deep orange. I’m looking forward to the start of next week’s autumn QAL and hope to get a new quilter involved as well; the patterns are a great way to introduce new quilters to the fun of watching a quilt build block by block.

I’m jumping on into all my fall projects. I love the holiday season!!! Best time of the year!!
My favorite thing to decorate with in the fal is all of my “corny bunch” quilts. My small quilt group is called The Corny Bunch and we have had a “corny challenge” for at LEAST 20+ years, using a particular fabric to make a corny quilt. Most of the fabrics had some form of “corn” in them. SOOO, I have a LOT of quilts with fall and corn as a theme. I bring them all out in the fall and remember all the fun we had creating them.
My favorite fall thing is the fresh crisp air outside along with beautiful walks to see the changing leaves. So inspiring!!

Fall is my number one season. It brings cooler weather (YES!), leaves turning – just breathtaking!
I like to keep my decorations simple. I use Fall colors – burnt orange, browns, golds, cheddar, greens. My favorite is bittersweet which I gather into a wreath for my front door. Actually, Mother Nature takes care of the rest of the decorating for me. She knows best.
