Our last post for Block 12 of our ‘Reboot’ of the 2012 Embroidery Block of the Month!

Liz Hawkins & Beth Hawkins are sister-in-laws that design together. Liz is also now the amazing owner and chef at ‘Mama Hawks Kitchen’ in Hamilton Missouri! So when you go to Missouri Star Quilt Company and hit that amazing bakery, coffee & sandwhich shop for lunch, it’s Liz you are talking to!
We are making the blocks again with AuriFloss or Aurifil 12wt, which is equally yummy. You can get my Hometown thread Kit which has a spool of each weight for you to try!
I also spotted my thread kits ON SALE HERE!

This is the original quilt done in 2012, you are going to LOVE these blocks!
I was late getting this posted but now you have them all!
Article continues below these Amazon Goodies

My Perfect Boxes are on SALE, it’s a great way to have a storage box & a selection of colors.
PLUS… drum roll.. make the block by the time the NEXT block is released at the end of December, share it at the Aurifil page and YOU might be the lucky winner of a set of AuriFloss threads!

I’ve been tracing with this super nice lightbox. it is VERY reasonable and makes tracing so much easier to do than taping to a window! Yes.. that is what I used to do ..eek!

Thanks to Beth & Liz Hawkins, and Pat for the embroidery blocks. I have them all done, and am waiting to make time to get them assembled, and quilt top completed. Will the layout stay the same? Thanks for letting us know of the restaurant in Hamilton, now I have another reason to go back!!
Lol…..I’m the same way!
Yes, Pat! The Calendar always starts with a Sunday! It’s jusy weird!
Carol January 1st IS on Monday.
Do you mean you like calendars that start with Sunday and end with Saturday?
You can stitch them all Joyce! The designers gave them as a gift to all of us
awesome Magda!! Liz is incredible
Love the embroidery blocks you posted above.
But January 1st is on a Monday. I’m confused.
I found something disturbing to probably only ocd me! The Quilter Planner starts out with January 1st being on a Monday. I need a calendar book otherwise I get confused making out my plans!
I’m not liking this idea one bit!
