Block #9 – Summer Fruits

Summer fruits are the best fruits of all! luscious peaches, ripe nectarines, juicy sweet watermelon, yum!

What is your favorite? I tell you about mine in my video below

Tip: watch the video for pressing directions and alternate colors

Fabric:

  • I'm using a bundle of Golden Rod FQ bundle a. https://shrsl.com/2dj3q  and more options at   https://shrsl.com/2dhtw
  • You will not use all of the fabric the bundle it is a working bundle and you can pick lights and darks from anything in it because there's plenty of fabric
  • I used the background for this block but you can use any fabrics.  You don't have to do it exactly like mine, make it your own watch my video for other power options you might like

  1. Cherries, watermelon, and PEACHES! I wait all year for freestone peaches that are so sweet & juicy that they drip down off my elbow!

  2. Hi Pat, any ideas as to why Block 9 in Going on a Picnic comes up as Chinese looking? I had this problem with Block 1 also. Someone shared the link on a FB post with the measurements (a picture) and I was able to print it off from there. Help…love this block!!!!

  3. For some reason when I download the picnic #9 block it comes out in a foreign language….asian! Any ideas what is going on?

  4. Off the topic for today–I just watched youtube Row By Row “Red Carpet” from November 2015.
