If you didn’t know yet, my FREE Wed quilt Block here at I Love To Make Quilts is an ongoing project. I am grouping each set under a theme so that we do ‘x’ number of blocks that go into one quilt. The first that you are following is 182 days to make a quilt, the Solstice is 25 blocks.
I have the next theme (woohoo!!) and that will start June 28th. So we have 2 weeks to sew this up if you are working on setting after all the blocks are done. ….

Tick tock… the countdown to 182 days of sewing 25 blocks is nearing and and it’s SO exciting to see ALL your blocks coming together! I will be creating a gallery at our home page so you can post your full quilt tops & finished quilts.. cant’ wait to have that up!
Eureka! is 23/25 and I have a WONDERFUL reason for that name in the pattern!
…….keep reading to see my finds this weeks deals…

I’m from Humboldt, living in McKinleyville, 10 miles north of Eureka and I was at a guild meeting when you spoke and I won your book! Thanks to one of our local shops, Bunny Hop Quilt Shop, I have found your blog and I am so inspired!! Can’t wait to get started, though I am a bit behind. Retirement has brought more time to indulge in my favorite thing……sewing and quilting!
Hello Pat Sloan. Congratulations for your “Eureka”. It´s beautiful. Esto y un poco más son mis recuerdos del inglés. Pat estoy intrigada por el proyecto que comienza el 28 de Junio. El Solsticio es precioso. Saludos.
I really like this block. Simple but impactful. I’m thinking of making a queen size version using jelly roll strips. So many project ideas, so little time…
Pat! Thank you so much for all these fun blocks. Love the variety of sizes. So much fun creating my scrappy Come Home for Christmas quilt.
Even with my daughter seriously ill – sepsis – after a “simple surgery”, 20 days in hospital & long home recovery. This project kept me somewhat sane. Thank you for the help you provided me. BTW she’s all better now.
Am looking forward to participate in your next adventure. Thanks.
I think we have all had Eureka moments when quilting. Mine was trying to figure out why I would lose points or why the half squares were slightly bigger than the blocks I was sewing them to. Eureka! That’s why they have to be squared up!
Great simple block. Thank you.
and I love that the next of your themed sew-along starts the day before my birthday. What a great birthday gift! Thank you.
