I love Aurifil thread (and so does my machine)! I use neutrals for piecing, usually white or light gray. I do like to play with color sometimes for the quilting.
I love threads!! All colors, all weights, all purposes!! However I have come to cherish the neutrals that blend in and let the quilting and fabric take front stage.
Need Aurifil thread in these colors. Thanks for the chance of winning.

I usually use neutrals, but have a good selection of other colors.
I’m so fond of Aurifil thread! I always keep a cone of light gray for piecing, but I have several colors of Aurifil I just couldn’t pass up for quilting on the longarm machine.

I do almost all my piecing in white, and probably 75% of my quilting. Otherwise, it is a different neutral that doesn’t stand out against the background fabric.
I have never tried Aurifil Thread and would love to get this give away and try it.

I love Aurifil! I have several colors in the smaller spools and some neutrals in the bigger spools. I have a nice spool storage hanging on my wall so I can see all the colors at a glance.

I am slowly building my inventory of colorful Aurifil threads as I need them for quilting. I use neutral Aurifil 50 wt for piecing and some quilting.

As much as I would lots of colours of thread, I am more than happy with my neutrals. A white, off white or grey is all I have and find it will suit any project I am doing.

I love to collect alot of colors. But I really only piece with almost exclusively with the light gray or black. But collect the colors because they are so cool and every now and then I need one for topstitching or something interesting.
Like Pat, I started out sewing clothing, so I have always had lots of thread colors. Now that I mostly quilt, I buy more neutrals than anything else. I still like colors for applique, free motion quilting, and machine binding.
Auriful threads are my absolute favorite. Would enjoy getting more colors. I tend to lean into the gray and whites only.

I love all the Aurifil colors, but I use the neutrals most often.

I have many colors but since I started to piece quilt blocks, I learned to buy neutrals especially sale at local stores. Delving deeper into quilting, and watching quilting tutorials with FQS and Pat Sloan, I’m learning to use quality thread like Aurifil. I can economize in other areas but quality is important when you are looking for a well made finished project.
I love neutral colored thread because it always works when I run out of the cooler I am suing.

I love Aurifili thread. I really like to match thread and fabric, but to prevent constantly having to change thread (and bobbin), I sometimes use a neutral like cream or light gray.

I love Aurafil thread especially the 12 spool boxes. Organization helps me keep my thread available when I need it.I love the neutrals but also have some other weights and colors. A box of Aurafil is a gift that makes me very happy!

I love all threads. I do use mostly blender thread- whites grey and even a saggy green for piecing, black too when needed
Use Aurifil dove gray for almost all piecing, but love colors to match fabric for appliqué.
