  1. Aurifil thread is the best, I’ve been making quilts since 1977 and use many spools of thread. My great grandmother all the way to my daughter are quilters,,,,

  2. I mainly have neutral colour threads. When I applique I use the invisible thread so I don’t have to buy a bunch of colours.

  3. I started using Aurfil thread almost exclusively shortly after I started quilting because it seems to be the one my machines (both Janome) like the best – and I almost always use neutral colors. So I would love to win your box of neutrals. Thank you for your channel and all you do for your subscribers.

  4. I have an assortment of basic colors; red, blue, green, etc., which I occasionally use on my quilting with my domestic, but I do keeps a supply of several spools of white, cream, and light grey for my piecing. I use mainly Connecting Threads thread as my Bernina really seems to like it. I have never used the Aurifil and would love to give them a try before making a switch. Thank you Pat for all you do for us.

  5. I try to keep batting on hand because I find that I finish more projects if it is right there. If I have to go and buy it, I put my top away to never been seen again! I would love to have a whole roll of batting! I might even finish off my stack.
Thanks for your videos, Pat, they are so informative!

  6. Oh, I would love to win a roll of batting! I normally buy queen size & crib size packages. Most of my quilts are wall hangings, so I cut that out of the queen. Then I will sew remaining pieces together
    Thank you for the opportunity!

  7. I love to display threads on my sewing room wall. I use neutrals mostly but also love the occasional colors. I recently used a cyan Aurifil thread to finish off a fairy quilt that had lots of blues and pinks.

  8. I love using my Aurifil thread. I mainly use neutrals but like an assortment of other colors for appliqué and free motion quilting.

  9. Aurifil threads are the best! Neutral colors are a good grab and so, without having to worry about grabbing the right shade of color. I use the grays mostly

  10. I Love “I Love to Make Quilts”! I’ve been listening to you Pat since your podcast days and for the last 6 years or so on your YouTube show. Thanks for all you do and Aurifil thread is my go to thread for everything quilting.
    Love, Debby

  11. hi, your color group is a great to have. great neural and the container is great for storage once spools have been used up.

  12. I love colors! I live in Arizona and use lots of colors in my house! Would love the container of thread. Thank you, Pat.

  13. I love all colors! Usually piece with neutrals but sometimes get a little crazy with color when quilting…

  14. My machine loves Aurifil thread. I use a cone of dove grey to piece, but have a variety of colors for quilting. Neutrals are wonderful.

  15. Good morning Pat I Happy Anniversary!!! I love your show been watching probably for 5years. Learned so much
You have a great day Sandy

  16. I only have a few neutral colors. I need to expand my threads. I have never used aurifil.
Thank you for all you do. Love your channel.

  17. I keep bolts of warm and natural for my quilts! Best batting ever! I usually buy the white because it goes under everything so well.

  18. Right now I only have a few neutrals in the aurifil threads as I am switching from another thread brand. I love colorful threads.

  19. I love using neutrals for all over quilting and piecing and I like using colored thread for detail quilting. Thanks for the daily talks. I learn so much.

  20. I love colors of thread but I do use neutral colors when sewing together quilt blocks. I have not ever use Aurifil threads.I have a tendency to stick with what I know. Maybe it is about time to try something new.
